I don't understand how you people can lower it that much. Its too much of a pita to even jack the car up.

Damn I am old school, I mean we went stupid fast entry and exit with a limited amount of angle, a properly setup suspension, and we tried to keep are cars looking good without the use of zipties.

I mean you guys are so ******* hardcore, with your 0 amounts of suspension movement, huge clouds of smoke, I mean damn tires are ******* expensive you must be ******* hard, and damn the ******* zipties I mean **** thats ******* so hardcore you couldnt get away with posting that **** up on ebaums world.

And to think every weekend of my life I get judged in doubles with someone like that. can be 10xs as fast and have just a lil less angle and a decent amount of smoke., but they win because of tire smoke, I mean **** when this **** turn into a redneck burnout contest.

Dear sir!

Your demeaning comments describing my driving and my automobile are quite hurtful! As you can clearly SEE, I take YOU, the internet, and your opinion of my car quite seriously!! I am therefore forced to get on the defensive! I will therefore now attempt to explain to you why it's cool to have a low car, and why you are wrong.

Or I might just laugh at you cause you're so serious all the time.

BTW I don't get much angle, I drive an FC. Hahahah

PS

I have a finger of clearance between my sideskirt and the ground. Won't somebody please think of the suspension geometry?!

what have you accomplished so much more over others with your superior ride height/setup, over these cars that compete at national levels (talking about the "stupid setup" haruguchi fc.

that car would destroy you.

angle is part of the drifting game.

If you have to ask then please GTFO this is way over your head already. Proper suspension is key to any motorsport, and if you have read any of my posts you will see that I hate when people modify there cars is stupid ways. I dont really care if you are a pro or joe schmo I will call you a ******* tard. I watch those vids and they make my head hurt in what could be improved and the amount of bounce the car has is just ******* stupid. It is people like this that made me quit drifting and go to road racing, and as I have said time and time again, I only came back because I thought the ******* ricers tards had left.

I can already see your next post forming in my head. Why do not post your setup or your car, if you dont then you are full of bullshit. THis is why even before you post.

#1 The car is not done and will not be posted until it is done that simple, TTR has asked time and time again to see pics, and if anyone was going to get a first view of the car before it is done it would be him, are setups are similar and so are our views on some things.

#2 I have nothing to prove to you. I know what I am talking about, time and time again I have also proved this. Like I have said I am old school and even if I did post pics of my setup the first reply is going to be "well it needs to be lower" and some other retarded statements.

I think the thing that kills me the most is when I go to events now and see older drivers having to change there driving style because they do not "put on a show", hell I just saw Robbie Ingic at a meet not to long ago, he was about to quit because he had to change so much. Like me, he liked drifting fast and on longer tracks with technical corners. Every event that himself and I have went to has been at a oval with a small infield. Track days for drifting on road course tracks of speedways with larger more technical incourses stopped having drifting day because of the cars and drivers. Some of the worst people the track reps had ever met, people wanting on the track without proper safety gear and they would leave there trash everywhere, or leak fluids on the track(places without tech) and if there was tech they would throw a fit because there 4ft tall ***** shifter was a saftey hazard and not allowed on the track.

wow you are on a ******* high horse, all those cars have a faster entry than you can hope im pretty sure.

Quit, no one will lose any sleep if you do.

i wont post my car cause its not relevant to the subject of you thinking that you are better cause your car has "proper" suspension setup.

well i guess it sucks in wv, cause we have buttonwillow, wsir, and on occasion the track at thunderhill.

FCDrifter, who are you? What's your real name? You're such a mystery man to me... you talk like you have koguchi level skill, but have retired because the game is too easy.

What events have you competed in? How many first place D1 victories have you had? When were you drifting "back in the day"? Are there any videos of you driving? Pictures?

Seems like a lot of talk for such a proooo driver.

Are you really that ******* ignorant that you think that? A bridge will spool quicker and make more power through all rpms once you reach positive pressure. If you think otherwise you are dead wrong. Stop posting bullshit, it makes you look like a dori fanboi. I can not take anything you say seriously after a comment like that.

i dunno dude, to me, the whole point of drifting is to look cool.
the lower, the more rediculous, the better!
the ONLY reason i have aero is to look cool when i blast it into pieces.

Yes speed angle smoke is all judged but i think they put to much focus on the passing part. I would like to see more use of the track, more technical sections and solely judge on style speed angle and smoke and if you get passed its w/e. Or they should get rid of the doubles all together focus solely on one driver who can carry the best line/speed/angle and make the most smoke.
