we got REALLY lucky we have a buddy who just happened to be parting out a t2 and just happened to live right down the street from my house so we went over and pulled off the turbo driveline to use in our car

only unlucky part was that it was a few hours work outside and it was hotter than the fires of auschwitz today

poor fc

I just found out that the turbo diff is a big larger than the NA one we had, which explains why I was having a harder time picking it up

gotta dress to impress while working on cars

Damn right, torch does work! I suspect that rear end is cast Al, so I recon these not much chance of börking any heat treating, especially with a propane torch.

I remember doing this removing the bushings from my BA4's control arms. Be it drilling, burning or pressing them out, I was left with a steel pressed fit collar that had to come out. Had to assemble a hacksaw through the bushing shell and VERY CAREFULLY score it enough that it could be pry bent out. Rinse and repeat X 12!

then homeboy had a heart attack and we havent heard from him since lol

You should have a spare sup frame cuz that little hook in the middle always brakes
