this thing costs way too much but now we can throw a 44mm gate on there and not worry about boost creep

In my experience one 44 won't be that great in handling boost creep. I'd suggest going to a 60 instead if possible

Well were gonna keep the turbo pretty small maybe .60 or .62 and boost probably around 10 psi you think id need a 60mm? id probably have to upgrade manifolds too because i dont think the hks would even be big enough to support flow to that

Rule of thumb is, with low pressure you need a bigger waste-gate size, with higher pressure a smaller one is sufficient.

I also installed PBM solid front and rear diff mounts. Difference is my rear diff mounts were dropped in from the top instead of the bottom. Could this be why my car is having a crazy whine in the back? I'm thinking axles are under pressure between diff and wheel bearings.

hasnt been alot to update recently but our tax returns should be coming in soon and we can get the ball rolling. i also decided to do a full shave on the engine bay there will be work on that soon

the whine is normal for solid diff mounts. the correct way to install them is with the flanged part facing the ground its not necessarily bad to run them how you have it but its straining the front diff mount and you aren't getting the geometry correction the bushings are designed to give

Got time to work on stuff so started shaving the firewall. The Larger holes will be filled with sheet metal by our friends doing the fab. The goal is to get this engine bay looking montequilla. For those of you white folk, that means buttery

Are you sure the diff mounts go in from the bottom? Super now diff mounts go in from the top and come with a bottom piece. I have MMR ones and i have put them in from the top using the standard bump stops with no issues with clearance.
Did you have to shave the inside of the diff mounting points out to get them in from the bottom?

He is correct they go in from the bottom, they are to raise the differential. If you put them in through the top it pretty much leaves it at stock height.
No shaving is required as they fit the exact same either way.

but good news is i do have a little update

i came home with this last night from my buddy battlecat who gave me a ridiculous deal on it

im gonna have to make sense of that bucket of spaghetti somehow which doesnt seem like a lot of fun but necessary nonetheless. i plan to clean it up a lot by replacing the worn wires and connectors using solder instead of crimps when i can and ill most likely ditch the plastic looms for mil spec ones

it also came with this state of the art supercomputer to tune it with. i hear its using a version of windows thats not even out yet. ill probably end up using it for gaming
