*NEW* A/C and P/S 20b conversion kit for FD!

After months of work and planing, finally we can claim having the best of all worlds for 20b FD guys! Our newest kit is unlike anything else on the market. It still keeps the full stock subframe, and will not move the steering rack (which has made our current conversion kit such a success). But now keeps the Air Conditioning! In fact, it even keeps the a/c and p/s in the full factory locations! How did we do it? With more work, and more machining we actually moved the alternator over and down a few inches. Then completely changed the belt tension systems. The result? Perfect clearances with a FULL stock hood. Will work with Huge turbos! Will work with RHD cars! Will work with N/a! This is not replacing our previous 20b conversion, it is simply a optional upgrade for users wanting to retain a/c.

Features--

Keeps full stock subframe. NOT a subframe replacement
Keeps steering rack un-moved
Keeps full factory a/c system
Keeps Power steering system
Allows use of stock hood, no cutting or trimming needed, and still has over 3/4" clearance at the lowest point.
Uses stock size belt for a/c and p/s. And also uses a much easier to find, longer belt for the alternator/waterpump.

Other details--

This version still uses our same machined waterpump outlet, engine mounts, oil pan modification, and steering rack mods. So a previous customer can change to this model easily.

Here are a few shots of this new setup. I will have even more detailed ones soon.

Price $2070.00

I just started researching a 20b swap and therefore just read all your threads. Excellent work, I hope to order this kit soon.

Wow, this is an amazing accomplishment! Do you have any videos of this engine mounted? I would very much like to see it in action.

quick question....

i know you guys are primarily into the 20b, but is there any change you could fab up an idler pulley for the waterpump and a bracket for the alternator to relocate it where the a/c would be?

i'm sure you could get a lot of buyers interested, especially those that still have the stock twins with the solenoids above the engine

This looks great.
Do you have any images of firewall clearance, motor mounts at the subframe, and steering rack? Your website is dead.
Thanks,
Crispy

We have a kit that relocates the alternator to where the a/c is, and will work just fine for the FD too. You can see pics of it here--

Firewall clearance is the same as stock, as the transmission does not move. Check this thread it shows how the motor mounts look, and steering rack clearance. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=644417
