Where are the thanks threads?

Just wondering, since everybody is so anxious to complain when the forum is slow, where are the 'thanks for fixing it' threads now that it's much much faster.

And for those who love to speculate about what hardware we're using, here's a picture. Hardware isn't an issue yet, the problem is simple - forums this big are hard to keep running well. They're resource hogs, and require constant tweaking and attention. We do try, and it would be nice to see some appreciation.

Wow, I didnt know a forum could use THAT much hardware!
Thank you for spending your time and money so we can enjoy this for free, and thanks for making it run smoother again. Even though my car is still not drivable I still enjoy looking through the pages almost every day.

So thats what my life support equipment looks like. For every one jackass that complains there is 10 of us that are too busy scouring trough all the info and learning to thank you. Sometimes i have to refresh the screen 40 times to get it going but as long as i can access it eventually that is just fine by me.

Thanks you very much
Allen

Thanks. Just curious, but what was done to fix the problems we were having? I don't have a regular connection to the internet at the moment, so I had no idea anything had changed. On another note, any chance of a come back tour of RXTuner Mag, or has that dream died a fiery death?

Honestly, thank you for the forum. If it weren't for rx-7 club, i might actually have to do work while i'm at work...and we just can't have that

Still never noticed the slow conditions on the forum, but i DEF. have noticed that the database errors are gone again, and i'm VERY thankful for that!

So thanks! This forum is VERY useful for somebody like me with very little technical knowledge.

We were out of town for a few days, so I hadn't been on long enough to really notice a difference. Thanks for fixing it! I don't feel that enough credit is being given to our mods. There is alot of drama that goes against them, but they do much more for this forum than we realize. Thanks to all of you guys!!

I was just thinking lastnight when the server was down (maybe fore maintanance) that I hadn't gotten the database error in quite some time. Wasn't sure where to put up the thank you for that but looks like someone created the thread. Thanks a bunch! Don't know what I would do without it

Well I have to say that despite the fact that some of the elitists on this forum are pretty rude, it has definitely been my number one for learning about RX7s...I am pretty new to the rotary and rx7club has really dispelled a lot of the common myths surrounding them. Before, when I was looking into buying an FD, I thought they were absolute heaps of trouble. Now, thanks to this site, I know that if you are smart about it and do some reliability mods, the FD will be at least a manageable heap of trouble, if not better.
So yea. I have never complained about the actual technical service of this forum, mostly just the people on it, but definitely kudos, and thanks for all the hard work.

I know 99% of you appreciate what goes on behind the scenes, every day ... some days (like today) for many hours. If it's not normal server maint issues, it's possible hack attempts like today.

Ryan, congrats, and THANKS! I really think you should post up a link to direct forum members as to how they can donate toward the forum

On a side note, I fear that during the upgrade, something went a wee bit haywire, as all of the threads in the vendor subforums have disappeared... only the stickies remain! I can't even tell ya how alarming that is, given I was in the middle of several GBs! Hopefully it's a fixable glitch or there's a backup?

^^Many of the threads that were in vendors sections got dumped into the main GB center section.

Thanks Ryan!
