You can always do the same in this situation with stupid forum policies.
And I might be speaking only for myself but I treat forum rules/regs like an EULA from a piece of software. I don't read it, click the "Yes I read it" button and move on. I doubt many people aren't even positive what they are complaining about.
It is amusing that people are still trotting a $1000/month figure though Icemark corrected them with the $200/month figure.

Many of the people that were contacted, and asked to stop did just that... they habitually bought cars and parted them or habitually made the runs to the local junk yards... or they owned a shop and bought a car once a month and dumped all the parts here that they didn't use.
But the key was that they did own a shop and they were making money on just selling parts (even if their poor business sense made them sell the parts for next to nothing).

Even if it wasn't a one time thing, $1000 per month is huge if you only part out even a few cars each month. I have a suggestion for this kind of situation, couldn't they just request a percentage of sales over $x in x amount of time? It might be harder to keep track of, but I guarantee more people would be willing to saddle up to that by a simple honor system because they can count on making money when they sell stuff and so can IB, and everyone knows how much they will get for $x in sales. Time is such a BS way to group used parts sales because the demands are constantly changing, especially with a relatively small demographic like we have here. A pretty limited number of many people have RX-7's and are looking for secondhand parts for them.

I have talked to him MANY times over the past year and a half, He has ALWAYS treated me with the upmost respect and has been very helpfull. I think maybe instead of trying to talk to him as a moderator or as somone who is higher up or better then him just tal to him as a friend would... THAT is one of the biggest problems around here.. The attitude of this forum SUXS... I'm not blaming any one person but I think it is something that is rubbing off on all of us...
You post something up the next reply is either SEARCH, SARCASTIC remarcks, DEGRADING behaviour buy any and all of the people on this forum.. It dont matter if it is in the lounge, 2nd gen tech forum or the FS threads... Everyone has a cow over something stupid...

Kevin is a good guy, he was a hell of a member and is a GREAT engine builder.. the club has lost him and I am SURE that it will hurt this place...
I think the mods and IB are not on the same page plain and simple, I dont think the mods know what IB is saying to the members and prolly IB dont know what the mods are telling us...
