Why would a guy with a GOOD name like Kevin's forgo that good will and post a for sale add with an unknown name?
This makes no sense at all. So Kevin did this first? or did IB threaten him so he went to drastic measures.

There is nothing wrong with posting a url in a sig, however if your doing it in an attempt to be a nusiance and prove some self established point it could be considered contrary to several forum rules.
We can all debate the issue at hand. When this board was sold to IB, it has gone downhill. Over the last six months I dont even check the classifeds. It is useless, all the normal guys that we all buy parts from are gone. A bunch of new people who get flamed for asking questions. It clearly is a business not a FORUM to dicuss our cars and other ideas.
Yes should some of the guys sell stuff on the classified sections kicked back something? Well maybe. But it is not like they were some dealership and this was there sole source of revenue. Almost all 7 owner's dont have huge amounts of money and this site helps the WHOLE community. It is such a small nitch market for us that there is no way for the small guy to pick a few cars apart and sell them and make back any money. Yes Kevin is in the 7 business and I know this had to help him. But he had his own site and gave countless advice and cheap parts to a huge number of people on this board. I know there are always two sides to the story. But the writing is pretty clear, if you come here you will pay and in turn so will the whole community by having to pay higher prices for parts for our beloved cars. But with the internet there will always be a new place go just one click away.

You're bringing principle into this? The MAN REBUILDS ENGINES FOR A LIVING AND HE MADE A THREAD ON HOW TO REBUILD ENGINES WITH DETAILS AND INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT CAN AND CAN'T BE REUSED.

You make good points. For instance, I started reading this site several years before I joined (which was several years ago) and the initial reason I joined was information. Recently, the information has been deteriorating and the people of interest have been leaving, so I have been living in the lounge. If it continues down this path and I start using other forums for information, why would I continue to visit this one?

Kevin has help a lot of members out. Provided information....gave people confidence in building their own engine and told the truth about what goes on in the rotary engine building community. I see plenty of threads where he has helped and contributed. Made videos, pointed out building mistakes and probably saved many rx7 owners lots of money. So with all the contribution he has given isn't he entitled to something? You hardly see resurrection post in the Forsale section and its not like he is whoring it up.
