You can start all sorts of new threads and when they say "did you search", just tell them it's down

Hmm... this is the wrong night for the search to be down. Rad fan isn't working and I may have a busted motor mount.

Lightbulb Tip

You can search this site, or any site for that matter, using google.

Just type in your key words you would like to use and follow it with this.... Site:rx7club.com

Doing this will make google search just rx7club.

Well, there is a few ways you may be able to narrow down the results. You can put FD or 3rd gen or something like that in your search query to help narrow it down.

You just need to be more specific in your search terms, or you can just go through a few extra pages of search results.

Got the same problem. Going into someone's profile and selecting 'find all posts by this user' or 'find all threads started by this user' returns no results. Glad it's not something my end

Why not just fix the site? Folks have been unable to use the search feature for 3 days now?

You cannot use Google to search specific areas of the forum like the for sale sections. So, if you are in dire need of a specific part to buy, or a specific solution to a problem this site is useless right now.
Hopefully they're updating the search engine to allow for searching S4, S5, etc.. The search function would be way more useful if they ever listened to that suggestion.

^ Yea, it is certainly not a replacement for the forum search but it can be used to help find threads for repair help.

I sent a PM to DRkilljoy, hopefully he can get to the bottom of this issue.

Y'all have the good folks at Internet Brands to thank for the behind-the-curtains work that fixed this problem. Thread closed.
