Auto Lock

Would it make sense to automatically lock threads that are over 3 years old? This zombie thread revival is getting rediculous.

The amount of new thread on subjects covered effectively by older threads is even more ridiculous.

We're thinking about an auto-delete for those threads.....hmmm, or maybe just keep merging the new threads into the older one that answered the question.
