Quick Post/Reply

Is it me, or do the Quick Post/Reply's not show up as the most current post? It goes toward post count, but not on the Current Post showing. Neither does it bump the Thread to the top.

Must've missed this one. I'm not exactly clear on what you are trying to ask.

Haha, sorry.

Try the Quick Post option one time, and I think you'll understand what I'm saying. If you do it, at least for me, it doesn't automatically "bump" the thread to the top of the list, nor does it show on the forum front page or on the sub-sections page as the most recent Post. Does that help explain it?

I see. No it's not working that way for me. Your browser might be using cached pages. Does this happen with multiple browsers?

Yes, no matter whether I use my home pc, my wife's laptop, or the computer at work I get the same result. I am however using Firefox on all those computers, not sure if it does it on IE. I'll try tonight when I get to work.

OK, DKJ I done this in IE, and got the same result. When I loaded the Lounge page from Firefox, it had updated. Maybe thats something I'll just have to add to my routine, doing a refresh once I make the post, and back out of the thread.

I feel like I've seen it take longer to show it, but it didn't this time. If it does it again, I'll figure some way to show you whats going on. I may try other sections to see if it's me or not.

After you post is your habit to hit the back button or to go back to the section by clicking the link at the top of the thread?

Usually, I just hit the back button. UNLESS I have made a normal post, hence the browser goes back to that, in which case I click the link.
