Some more progress today. Oil pan FINALLY welded with no leaks, sump built and welded, and then anti-sludge coating applied. Dave asked me to not show the sump though... Older guys like keeping their secrets, I'll respect that.

Also took apart the FEED throttle body, cleaned it, painted it and regreased the springs.

It's special anti-sludge coating, that just happens to be the color. I need to keep making progress or the car won't be ready for DGRR.

Current progress... routed most of the wiring and modified the intercooler brackets a hair and mounted it in place with a bunch of woods holding in place. Once the turbo manifold is built, I'll be able to spin the turbo clockwise a bit, cut off the end to slip on a hose and zero pre-intercooler piping is achieved.

Updates and current progress... Lots of little things accomplished. Alternator bracket almost done, more wiring done, FD throttle body modified to mount to 20b upper intake since its a large FEED one, manifold almost done, and downpipe almost done as well.

Looking good Marco. Not Dave, I mean the turbo. Lol. It's about time someone got that old fart to smile.

Except there is no money involved here... . He helps me, I help him. All Dave is doing is the welding/mockup anyway since I can't weld (yet), I do all the cutting and grinding.

Every little addition to the car now as a little miniature project, make it fit and find a way to make it work most efficiently. Rad mounted and custom fanbox mocked up and ready to be welded...
