Saturday eh? Sounds good to me. I'll bring what's left of my car from the last rally. So, Glenmore park at what time? I can't seem to decipher when we're meeting.

I was heading down 17th ave on the way home and saw you heading the opposite direction up 17th.. did you get seperated from the rest of the group and just drove around aimlessly looking for them?

yeah, i first went on 17th ave east. went there a few times. then i drove around crowchild. then i finally drove 17th ave west and saw a tim hortons, but no rx7's haha. so much stop and go traffic, my right leg is all cramped up from holding the brake and throttle so the car doesn't die. oh well, at least i was breaking in the engine gd from all the driving haha. then after i got lost yet again going to my friend's bday. i won't get lost next time if it is the same places!

remind me again.. you've got a new motor in the car now and you're breaking it in? but you also have a vac leak somewhere and the car doesn't want to idle?
where did you get your motor?

it came with the car when i bought it sooo long ago. the receipt i have for it says its from cp racing. actually the car could idle when me and corey set the idle to 1.5k. but the idle would just keep rising as the car warms up, and the throttle response is even worst than it is now. right now the idle actually jumps from about 200 to 1200. it is just that it can't do that for a long enough period of time. my battery died from all the starts at stoplights, so i decided to just never let it die by giving it throttle. we also lost the spring for the tps somewhere in the engine bay, so we are using a piece of metal to hold it as far apart as possible. the tps has nothing to do with the jumpy idle htough, since it had no effect when we disconnected it.

It's sad to hear about the troubles you are having with your car.. What end of the city are you in? If you'd like, perhaps I can give you a bit of a hand with getting the car ro run a little better when we have some free time ?

yeah, its really nice so many people offered me help. the rx7 community is so nice and warm . but yeah, i have an exam tmr, have a few errands to run after, and still living in a condo. can't wait to move to pararama next month. so right now isn't a gd time yet. actually i am quite happy i am actually driving, though i am getting poor from the gas haha. also have a feeling my turbo needs a rebuild........full boost at 4000rpm. from wat i heard should be 2kish with exhaust and intake. hope there'll be more meets, seems like when i was driving the tercel i see so many rx7's, now i barely see any .

i have an uneven weight distribution between my left and right hands. if only the extra weight was on my right hand, then the extra weight would be in the center of the car during shifting. we really should have left our cars running to help rid calgary of mosquitos. at least max's haha.

I dont think I've ever seen an RX-7 blow that much exhaust out of it under acceleration. Had to turn on the wipers due to the soot. Being a convertable didnt help much either.

I had a pretty good time at the meet.. Good to meet all of you..
Max's car... wholly crap, what a stink bomb...
Cruising home I was 5 maybe 6 cars behind and could barely breathe. That car sounds SOOOOOO wicked though. That 3rd gen sounded really nice to, but nothing compared to that half Bridgeport.
I would die to go in a ride with Max or Chris...

Hahahaha big power takes big fuel. My car stinks too, I've seen people behind me rubbing their eyes. But it shouldnt have any smoke, I don't know what Alak ment about "soot" I'll try and get out to the next meet for sure. The only weekend that will NOT work for me is July 23rd, got another wedding.

Was a good meet. I did get bitten about 5 times though. Stupid mosquitos. It was nice that the rain kept away for the most part.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I took some pics with my dinky camera phone. Quality is brutal but you get the picture.

Nice pictures... I like the one with all 3 gens beside each other. To bad they weren't all white though...
Next time someone will have to bring a video camera and just shot a small vid of everyone curising by.. Would be kinda neat..
