As I've posted in the 2011 thread June 10th after the DDT event there will be a BBQ hosted at my place for the Rotary Time Attack Regulars Will need to know closer to the event who plans to come over otherwise its bread and water for ya!
So far commited for the whole series: (In no particular order)
1: IAN FC
2: RXeckless FD
2.5: Scottish#1 Rx8 ?
3: 13Bbackfire FC
4: JDK FD

Posted interest in some of the events:

I would suggest registering early (Registration or dates not posted yet but those are the days that the organized told me) as the spots fill up fast especially the closer you get to the event.
I will try to keep this list edited just to show who is interested and or just to have a mini meet etc so if things change post up

I'm hoping I can make it to all the events, sounds like it would be a blast. I know the 79 won't be very competitive, but I'm just out to have fun anyway. I just need to get the engine running in tip top shape and make sure the brakes are good. I've got a lead on a RB header too, so the car will actually be heard out there lol

Looks like the Ontario Time Attack (Solo1) has updated their look and format. Last time I did this series it was nothing like this format. (I was unsuccessfully in this series due to budget and a few broken parts. IE oil cooler and exhaust kept breaking and my friend who I joined with blew his motor and half the fun is going with your friends ) http://www.casc.on.ca/timeattack

They need to update their rules so I don't run against F1 cars.
I'd never have a chance at winning that series even if I put michael schumacher in my car.
Part of the draw to the sigma events for me is the very, very lax rules for car performance.
And judging by what has been winning, driver is still the biggest factor.

I may be doing a few events only unfortunately. I was hoping to get my motor build done this for this season but that is pushed back d/t more important life priorities.
If my current motor continues to be a trooper then I may be able to make it out to all events.

There is a link on the website to register, I believe. Looks like its not yet open for 2012 though, and they don't have the schedual listed on the website yet either.

I should be able to make it to the first two events at least I think, as long as my 79 runs good without too much trouble. Full tune up and fluids change when I get her road ready in about a month, and new front brake pads (el cheapo econo on it I think right now lol), and adjust up the rear brakes. Yes 79's had manually adjusted rear brakes.
