Other then that have not even touched it since last post.
Your turbo is lost in transit? Maybe it's stuck at the border. Insurance or not, they should be able to track it down. Did you have to prepay the return shipping, too? Is it too late to add insurance?

As for your interior plastics having different shades of black, try black shoe polish on the pieces to even out the colour. That's what I'm going to do with the S5 steering wheel you gave me. Also, my new S4 console surround just doesn't fit as snug as the original. (I should have taken Buggy's advise and buy the softer S5 surround.)

Yup turbo was lost in transit. I hope it is stuck somewhere but odd that it would be for three weeks. I didn't prepay return shipping. Paid BNR shipping back.

How is the S5 steering wheel? It was better shape then my 10th AE. Just wasn't right to put it in the 10th AE

Thanks for the idea on shoe polish. I will try this. Would it not come off rubbing it by hand after?

So motor is in the car. Transmission fluid, engine oil, coolant and new red top battery installed. Man fluids are getting up there in price. Bought new HPS silicone hoses for my intake and ARC TMIC. To lazy to take pictures.

No idea

So I have one wire hanging in the front bumper. No idea what its for. Its with the A/C and horn harness. A/C switch and horn is installed and associated harness connected.

Also A/C does not seem to have a connector. There are a few empty connectors near the battery and fuse panel. Eventually I figure I will find out where these go.

Well turns over. But no fuel pump voltage so no fuel pump. Still have not figured it out on the fuel pump relay or main relay etc. Stumped.

IT runs! I guess 15 years ago I cut the 12V wire to the fuel pump. LOL. Took me hours and hours of checks before I pulled the rear to look at the fuel pump LOL. I took the 12v off when I went Haltech.

So now it runs but it runs for like 30 seconds and the add oil light comes on but I have oil pressure. Also right now it will not hold an idle. Not sure if its 6 or 7 year old gas or I am missing something again somewhere.

Main thing it RUNS!

Well no update since the cover has not moved off the thing in over a month. To busy with the family and other projects, house projects and repairs etc.

The new update is just a new REVII exhaust and innovative MTXL wide band kit has arrived.
New ETA is next summer I can spend all winter tweaking the intake and duct work etc etc.

Figure out what to do with seat covers and fix the sunroof and window regulator issue.

Drove the car down the street. First time in who knows.

I have issues. I read 16 to 20A/F ratio. This is with two different wide bands. I cannot find any exhaust leaks. It appears to drive fine and idles easy at 750rpm ish.

Does anyone have a tuner wideband that connects to the muffler

So a ton of little things to do to keep me busy all winter. Car is still a mess. Maybe if I am not to lazy will post some new pictures

Air pump is connected but there is no cat converter so the pipe is just sitting in the air. You think the air control valve has something to do with the A/F? I'm running stock ecu right now. Had some issue with my harness that I fixed but didn't bother trying to run the car again on the adaptronic yet.

I'm not quite sure on an FC as I never tuned one with the air pump on but on an FD with the air pump on, it will idle at ~20 afr and overall show lean everywhere else as long as its on. To do tuning, I always unplug the air pump, otherwise its impossible.

Well damit you are right. So friday night took turbo out and looked around for exhaust leak. Removed my old innovative wideband a month ago and installed new MTXL. I have wasted a few days of work on my car only because it is in FACT the airpump. For some reason there is some alternate path other the air injection into the exhaust port causing the readings to be lean. How the hell does the stock ecu compensate for this. There most be something wrong with one of my solenoids or something for this to happen this way. Gonna have to learn how this works. I thought that it injects air into the cat converter during idle.

So now it idles at 12.9ish. I can't breath and have a headache even with the garage doors open. LOL.

So after taking off the belt for the airpump you noticed your afr's were normal again? Cause im having the same problem aswell. I deleted my cats but left my airpump hooked up for now. At idle and when im only on the throttle a bit, my aem wideband cant even read it cause its so lean, but during boost its within the 11-12 area.

Yup. As soon as I took the belt off it displayed proper airflow ratio's. its the port air solenoid.

This guy pointed me to the info. It wasn't till Marco suggested this that I looked in the manual and noticed the port air injects at the manifold. Weird. Never knew this.

You can pass smog without the air pump if your cat is good. I did it 2 months ago on a customer's s5 turbo with a stock engine and no emissions equipment at all. Passed Canadian Tire smog etest with flying colors (barely registered).

Was the emissions equipment working at canadian tire I'm getting a cat with the air pump connection might as well use it. I guess closed loop on the adaptronic will be difficult to get to work though.

I was going to buy a bolt in racing beat cat converter from rx7.com. hope it works out for emissions. Prices to be released as it is a new bolt in replacement cat in place of the silencer.
