Well if the wind pushes me on the get down hill I get 11ltr per 100 lol. Would Love to take the S2000 for a rip. It was a mistake to paint the 10th AE. You know for years all I did was change the oil and do track days with your old rx7. The only thing that happened is I blew one of the shocks. Last year the power steering and starter went but hey pretty dam reliable. We should meet up soon.

Can a LS7 fit? Isn't a LS7 a 427 cu in engine?

I was thinking this would be better:
Lingenfelter LS3 378 CID 575 HP 58x 11.5 Compression Crate Engine - Lingenfelter Performance

Awesome! It's looking great!

And the closer your car gets to completion, the closer my car gets to being worked on,

Done. Wet sanding complete. Trim pieces being installed. Maybe have it in about two weeks. Then comes the installation.

Awesome! If you need a hand for some of the assembly let me know. I'd be willing to make a weekend trip down and turn some wrenches with ya.

Sure. Will take you up on the offer. Just tell me what kind of beer etc. Might also need some parts from you. Also I work real slow with NXP scratches and tool all laid out in order. Border line crazy. Lol

When it comes to final assembly on something like this slow and steady is the way to go. When you rush things get scratched and it just doesn't come out good. As for the beer, I'll drink pretty much anything.

For beer, there are so many options. I mean, sure, you can just pick up a two-four of Keith's and be done with it, but you could also theme it:

Working on a Japanese car? Sapporo
With an engine designed by a German? Beck's
With a beautiful new white paint job? Hoegaarden

The main thing is that you follow Jon's Golden Rule of Beer : ABC, Anything But Coors.

Definitely keep us in the loop, I'm anxious to see how it all turns out!

Jon

It's really starting to come together. She's quite the beauty!

How much do you figure is left to be done before you get it back? It looks like it's almost in the state of assembly it was in your first pics, so it's got to be done soon.

Are you going to have him store it until spring, or are you bringing it home on a flatbed? Do you have a garage?

I am assuming I get this car back in two weeks. Just putting a bunch of trim and rear hatch etc back.

I have a garage. Getting it shipped enclosed. I want this car together for april. Just got to figure out if I put the Haltech and 400hp gear or back to stock. Either way car must pass emissions.
