Would you guys believe my car still doesn't have an exhaust system and its still missing half a downpipe lol. Trying to get the car ready on the last day as usual...
When is the group meeting in Windsor again? I might have to fly solo.

A couple weeks ago, I was coming back from Florida and picked up a hotel coupon book in Kentucky.
I skimmed the pages and found the cheapest hotels to be around Berea, Kentucky. Do you think that will be far enough to travel tomorrow? I believe there are about 4 hotels to choose from. It's not a big city and the hotels aren't fancy. But it's cheap and convenient.

I'm awake trying to figure out what to do. My parents offered the GT-R to take down but its not a rotary... Here is where I'm at right now lol... with my 4 piece manifold/downpipe setup.
Basically, if Daves hands are OK the exhaust system might be finished late afternoon today but its really rushing things as some things have to be done in the engine bay as well like new coolant line for heater hose, new oil drain for turbo, and ic pipes pre-intercooler. I don't know...

I slept like a baby. I didn't get to Kitchener till late last night. Tried to do some last minute modifications to the Rx-4. That didn't work out well. But anyway, the car is on the road ready to rock and roll!
Good to hear you are on your way. We just arrived a couple of hours ago.
Settling into our cabin now over in Fontana view about 3 or 4 miles away.
Thinking of having a Canadian people reception here one of the next two nights if people are interested in making the "trip." Cabin is pretty spectacular (pool table, air hockey, hot tub, huge.. and a gourmet kitchen that the better half is dying to entertain in.)

Well, I woke up this morning in North Carolina, packed my gear, grabbed a bite, drove the Tail of the Dragon one last time (pushed a few mini's out of the way) and headed home. I was making good time until 1:00pm, when I hit a 2 hour traffic jam in Cincinatti, due to road construction (I-75 north bound, before the river...WARNING: take the bypass!!). I met up with a pack of mini's during the jam up and we yelled about the Dragon. After that, things went smooth. It took me 14 hours on the road. I crossed at Port Huron and sailed right through to Sarnia and then London. Home by 9:30pm. I'm beat...with a smile on my face.
