Dgrr 2011!
Congradulations. Will be a nice bruce country hang out spot!!
Congratulations! But, it's never big enough. My garage is 28 * 32 with a full second story, and I'm already plotting where I can build a detached garage for more space...
Thanks guys, I know it's never big enough! I will be putting on a 15x32 addition in the future to build a full machine shop in it, I am pretty stoked, I have just over an acre, and I have access to a river, it will be the ultimate starter home, and hard to top...

Going south from Port Huron there really isn't much to see until southern Ohio. Everything north of Dayton is flat and pretty straight. Let us know what you come up with.

I'm working on this, but honestly any other route other than I75 is going to take FOREVER! Everyone else feel free to brainstorm a route. Still looking like the best option is to cross at Detroit/Windsor.
Let's just hope Menendez isn't working our booth that day..........
I was pondering taking US 219 through Pennsylvania, but I'm afraid we'd have to take 3 days to make the drive each way. Looks like fun though driving through the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. Like I said any thoughts on this chime in guys.

Go to mapquest and put in for directions from Port Huron or Detroit to Bryson City NC, then drag the line over to Columbus OH and Charleston VA. That would be a decent route that's not nearly as boring as 75 and is only a couple hours longer.

Ya it did give me that option. I'll have to look at it again. And see what kind of time it takes. You still drive a fair distance on I75 but it's in Tennessee so it's the nice part of I75.
Route? CAA, has anyone check with them? I know if your a member they'll give you up to two route packages with maps and two alternative routes. I'll check with them in the next few weeks, as I have to get a new card after my wallet was lost in Mexico.

Ya at detroit I will be probable going through it before anyone else and just meet everyone across the border somewhere were I will not get killed!
