we'll be able to fit 6 people in the cabin - the first six names on that list will be in the cabin I book. The rest will need to find another cabin, but we can and should all travel down together! IIRC last year divided amongst everyone is was around $100USD/person for the two nights in the cabin - trust me its worth it (and really not that expensive for what you get/the view!) But I'll divide it out after I book it and get a grand total.

Its no big deal to book it, just make sure you have the discount code phil gives you when your register and you're rocking. Their website lists all the cabins/occupancies etc. so figure out what you'll need. I just don't want to wait too long to book the cabin I want to stay in in case it gets snapped up

So the first six names listed will be staying where we did last year - any others will need to book another cabin at Nantahala Village. Whether you book it now for two/three people/whoever is left or book it for more and get a couple others to come is up to you

Marco - cool just let me know

yeah that was probably the best $100 I spent last year.

Too bad the exchange rate isn't quite as nice anymore, still, it's not bad.

^ We can make up the difference in dirt cheap gas. It's getting close to $1/gallon in some places.

Heres a test video for the camera. Just got it and the video quality is pretty good. Should be able to get some good footage of the Dragon. I took a little while to get it secured to the car so jump to about 1:40 to see the car moving. Video was taken on my Sunfire, since the 7 is hibernating.

Forgot to say boys!

We're in in #220 again. Still looks to be about the same cost as last year....I think the total is around $600 USD, they only charge me half now and the otehr half when we check out. Hopefully the dollar levels out a bit by then

I better start deciding what car to take, and building it. lol. Otherwise it'll be something non-rotor powered again.

Getting so excited! Why is this still so far away, I want to go now!

Still not sure what car I'm going to take, probably either my stock 10AE or my GTR again. It's hard to argue with the GTR.

Just get one boy to ride shotgun. It's worth the trip. I was paying off overdue bills for 2 months after the trip because I used nearly an entire paycheck to pay for it. Would I do it again? Hell yes.

The beautiful thing about the southern states is that it is so hilly most of the roads are quite fun. I've been on some Alabama and Georgia roads in a tractor trailer and was cruising at a good pace having fun thinking, "I have got to remember this when I bring the FB next year"

Don't be too sure. Bring the wrong girl and it could **** up the trip for you. Ask me how I know.

yeah I'm going solo this year. It's best to have your own car and can go at whatever pace you want to.

We don't all have $700 to put towards a spare rebuild kit. I'm only bringing a spare belt and some tools. Just like last year. Hopefully I won't have to use it.
