I was supposed to be in trial from April 6 -23 but I will find out tomorrow if it is going to collapse. If it does I would love to join you guys.

So are there any spaces in rooms? Bed or sleeping bag would be fine. I would obviously pay my way regardless.

Ooops, I just realized I would have to take care of some "issues" with my car too.

Anyhow, I really want to see David Hayes' 3-rotor so I hope I can make this happen.

 

I'm sure we could find a couch/floor space somewhere Charn. As for the way down, its all flying by the seat of our pants anyways, so that would be fine.

Let us know. I believe there's already 125+ people signed up, last year there was 100ish by the event, so this year is going to be huge.

I'm up for leaving on wednesday. I have that whole week booked off so I've got all the time I need.

Thursday wasn't available. (our cabin is privately owned, so they have to talk to the owner.....the original offer was only for Lodge owned cabins, but they're helping me out! )

Meeting at Tim's in Windsor near border: XX:XXpm (undecided, probably 6ish)

Stopping for sleep: 12:00am or so

Apr. 17th

Drive: As early as we can after Bob Evan's

Arrive in NV: 4pm ish

Apr 18th

Driving the dragon

Filling up with gas

Repeat the above two all day + sunday.

Just a reminder. Make sure you gas up at the BP gas station just down the road from the resort before 9PM if your planning to go for the midnight run. They close and the next available gas station is in Robbinsville, which is a different way and furthur. It's rather nerve racking trying to get there in the middle of the night with the needle on E and you don't know how far away it is. The gas station near the Dragon is only for bikers, because the **** that owns it only thinks their money is good. Ask me how I know all this. Go ahead, ask me.

 

I bought gas there last year. He was a bit of a **** though, I remember him grumbling about it. But I managed to get gas from him.

I need to buy some tires still before I leave I think, I'm going to have a look at mine on thursday and make a command decision at that time.

there is a small chance that I meet up on the US side of the border instead of in windsor, lets make a new thread to organize this.

Also, I've been talking with some american friends who may want to meet up on the 2nd leg of our journey, so depending on times/locations etc. we might be another 4 strong on the way down.

 

I'm signed up. There's going to be AT LEAST myself and a friend with bikes on a trailer.
