If we do it similar to last year, a few guys from TO will swing by my place (Ian and Marco) and we'll head to windsor to meet everyone else. You can hook up at either spot.

I don't recall the street/address we met in windsor, but it was easy enough to find. A timmy hoe's that was straight off the 401 about 5 minutes east of the border.

16th is good for me. Run it the same way we did last year. Stop in Cincinnatti for the night and carry on in the morning. Maybe try to get going a little earlier in the morning this time, so we aren't rolling in as late as we did last time. It would be nice to get a couple runs in before hitting the sack on Friday.

Knock on wood but that shouldn't be a problem if we don't have to locate, pickup and swap alternators, plus wait for a Haltech E8 to find its zen center of reality in the parking lot

It was still an adventure And I got to try cuban food.

So I gather we will be staying at hotels again. Or does anyone have an idea of camping? Gotta start planning packing.

I say hotel. There's a Motel 6 either the exit before or after the Days Inn, and theres even a Bob Evans restaurant on the corner, so we don't have to go hunting for breakfast again. It's also cheaper than the Days Inn and the rooms and showers were nicer.

The wife and I are planning on leaving on the morning of the 16th, so we might be able to hook up South of Detoilet if the timing is right. But we'll probably drive straight through (got the cabin starting that night).

I'm heading down the 15th, got a room starting the 16th night. Figured I'd stay an extra day after; spending most of the trip last year looking for a tire and rim.. LOL, I'll probably end up meeting you guys down there, unless something else blows up.

+1 on having good luck this year.

STILL undecided on what car I'm going to take, its going to be my GTR or my stock 10AE. Just not sure which of the two.

I'm going more for the trip than anything. the DGRR experience is secondary to the drive (for me anyways) so going in a non-wankel isn't going to ruin my fun too much, I hope.

Everyone has GOOD FRS radios, right!?

I have the same two from last year. you liked how well they worked, so they should be fine. They've been in the closet since I got back last year.

NV is offering a free night in the lodge for us because I've booked friday and saturday.

I can take either the thursday night, or the sunday night if I'd like at no extra charge.

I'm thinking I'd like to head down early, spend friday there while everyone is rolling in/cruise the dragon etc................

What do you guys think? Can anyone else come down a day early with me?

I'm thinking about it.

I just know last time, we arrived on friday eve in time for supper - but I think it'd be awesome to get there early. Have more time to meet people as they're coming in and stuff.

But thats just my thoughts - maybe you guys want to stay sunday night? Daniel said thats what he'd be more up for.

Either way, its a free night, but we should figure it out soon so I can let them know.

Personally - I vote to stay thursday

EDIT: so don't book anything off yet Ian, we'll get this figured out by the weekend and I'll confirm that the night we decide on *IS* available before we make any moves.
