I need to spice up my website, so I'd love some footage of that!

Oh alrighty. Well I was just wondering if you could point me in the direction of a really nice silver colour. I'm not ready to paint the car yet but I'm trying to find the colour I want. The factory Sunbeam silver is just too dull for my tastes, so I'm looking for something that will stand out more. Thanks.

WA519F (GM silver) is a nice, bright and clean silver.

PS2 (Dodge colour) is another example, a little bit coarser metallic.

22V & M6505 are two nice clean silvers from Mazda if you want to keep it "in the family"

I was really hoping DGRR this year would be closer to a space shuttle launch date.

I /REALLY/ want to see one of these happen before there are no more to see. I think I may head down to FLA in febuary and then just go to DGRR in april. Two trips instead of one, but I want to see a shuttle launch pretty bad. I suppose that's still a long ways away and I have a lot of time to figure it out before then.

Absolutely!!

Just remember to sign up as soon as possible if you want to grab a cabin with us! I want to book the cabin at the start of January and need to know how many people we've got

Terrh - who knows maybe that APR. 6th one will be pushed back for weather or the other brought ahead (although that never happens lol) My mom's seen one launch before.....it'd be a sweet site.

last year I believe some people met near hamilton and then we met up with that group and everyone else met in windsor at the bridge.

Look at it this way - if you drive to windsor from quebec, you're allready halfway to the gap!

I know my friend alright told me he signed up it is just up to me I guess. We are shopping for an 8 now so if that happens I will be able to guarantee my attendance as even if the FD isn't ready I would have the 8 as backup.

Registered! So put me down for one person + guest. I can't drive all by myself with no radio, I'll go crazy or constantly be on the walkie talkies. You guys did bring walkie talkies last year right?

Yes we did and we were on the radio quite often. A part that I found funny is when a bunch of cars went to the gap for a midnight run, the radio sounded like a need for speed thing with the way the girls were talking lol. "here we go guys, show us what you got" rofl

Thanks Joe, I'll have a look at those

I still have the two radios I had last year. The only problem I have with radios is I like to drive with the music cranked right up, but at the same time, I don't want to miss any important info coming over the radio.

That midnight run was the best part, I absolutly loved it. We definitly have to do another one, I need that on film. Hopefully I'll have my brights working this time around. Being out in front and only being able to use my brights on the straight sections was a real pain, and sort of nerve racking.

I'm hoping my vacation pay will cover gas to and from. All the money I can afford to save is going towards parts.

I took the 16th to the 27th off. I can book more or less pending what Classicauto and others book.

I've also went and got 45KM range motorola Field service radios as well.

ian, what are those radios compatible with and how much do they cost?

No point in us all having different radios that can't talk to each other... where can I get one?

Yeah I'm thinking we leave early afternoon from my place (leaving windsor by 4-5pm if possible) to go to DGRR, then leave the sunday after for the keys (19th) I'd imagine we'd be back by the following sunday (26th)

That's what I'm thinking at this point anyways.

List of signed up people for the cabin (no particular order)

- Ian
- Terrh
- Thewird
- Classicauto
- Orion84gsl
- 2fierce +guest
- jinx00
- drandon? guest? (didn't notice if you're signed up yet or not, are you staying with us?)

make corrections if necessary - looks like we'll be in for two cabins if there's a couple other people.

yeah, the one those RX-8 people had.

as a bonus, it had a garden hose too, which makes car washing a whole lot easier.

OK - what I'm going to do is book one cabin, the same one we had last year.

It'll sleep 6 people (If you're bringing a g/f or wife as a guest then it'll sleep more! lol) after that, anyone else is on their own (meaning figure it out amongst your group who will book it) for a lodge. I don't think it'll be a problem drumming up 3 more people or so for the second group. There's also a few cabin's that are smaller and don't sleep 6-7 people so booking a smaller one may be an option for the second group.

I'll book it next week - have to put a payment on the credit card from holiday shopping
