Hey i'm looking for somebody to do a basic rebuilt and streetport for me,
asap I live in regina sask, but am willing to drive to wherever you are.

or are their any good shops? that port for a good price?

www.rpmperformance.ca (Joe..who is R.P.M., on the forum), www.rotarydynamics.ca (Jim Kutchske on the Forum).These guys are in Ontario,but are "top notch' in what they do.I know that Both have experience in "freight".They know People/places that will Ship/deliver your engine for a Decent price.I saw Joe post up that an Engine from Ontario to BC was 130 cdn to deliver,so Really you aren't Going to be Paying a "crapload" to ship your engine out and receive your "newly done up" one back!(if you are in VA..er ..REgina!..hahaha!)...good luck.

 

Ken you are better off pulling the engine and sending it on a crate to one of the guys in ontario.
Otherwise there is the RX7specialties in Calgary.
I hear they are expensive but that's about it as close to Sask as i can see.

We kinda got Jewed having an RX7 in Sask lol

On second thought Yogi here at Prairie Auto Haus(saskatoon) is an RX7 specialist. He might be able to help you out. If you need the number just ask

 

Isnt there a nice shop in winnipeg? JHB or something wasnt it. Or maybe they made the JHB housings. I dont remember.

 

yeah i've heard some bad things about rx7 specialities,
I would how ever bee willing to ship to Winnepeg if there is one.

But shipping to ontario isnt bad,
whats porting running $$$ now a days?

I can't remember and i might be wrong but it was like 250 for a normal street port.

And yah i wouldn't recommend Calgary. Although i have heard good thing as well too

 

I'm getting my work done at Staff's Auto in vancouver. If you would like a quote from them you can e-mail Greg at staffsauto@shaw.ca . So far he has been great to deal with and he definatly knows his stuff. He is the owner of the shop and they specialse in rotarys and have done so for 25 years. He personally builds each engine himself. With my engine hes giving me a minor port job for free.
