Another one of those project updates threads
Everyone seems to be naming their projects these days. I'll just show pictures and call it what you will.
Here she is in all her weather worn glory. A 1985 GSL from California. Surprisingly, everything still works including Aircon and Power steering.

Pretty normal backside. Normal Tail lights. Normal rear wiper. Normal 3" Exhaust.

Pretty Normal Interior. No radio, I never have one in my Rx-7's.

Yup, everything looks normal and stock here too.

Ah, a new addition. Probably the shiniest peice on the whole car, and it was the most expensive. Definately the redest.

Im thinking of fabricating a sort of 'dog house' scoop and attaching it to the intercooler directly instead of the hood.
Now that I've figured out how to work the wolf, its accually really nice. Its an old V3.1. I've been able to smooth out the idle and cruising. Definately not the most state of the art thing around, but it does the job. Im green when it comes to EFI so this is the first experience I've had with tuning and install.

Nice, good to hear. We have a Wolf 3D V4 for our drag car we are going to be installing very shortly and we have a new V500 coming for the RX-4 20B. They look like pretty good units. Just wanted to get your opinion on it.
Looks like an awesome project though, T2 FB's are awesome!

Unfourtunately, the only other work I've done to the car other than brakes and a ball joint is replace the shocks. I broke a spring today on a test run and almost had a bit of a crash. Its not so much that its evolved from a quick car to a fast car, its that its terrifying to drive on 25 year old suspension. Im looking to install some RB springs next week and probably do some bushings in the future.

Im debating wether or not its worth it in the long run to get the body work done on it. The exterior rust is not bad by any means, but underneath is another story. The car appears to have had a few paintjobs in the past.
I accually just fixed the last leak on my land rover. Its been absolutely great to me both on and off-road. The only thing I need is a steering dampner - the one I have is getting a little worn out.
