Norwegian 86 TII

Finally got myself my dreamcar, It is a 86 NA converted to TII by a previous owner. I bought it 5 january 2010, so i haven't realy done anything to it yet.

My plans for the car:
Keep it stock looking, need new "flash lenses" for the bumper.
Minor stereo build.
Get rid of the little rust there is and get it in mint condition.

The engine is a streetported S4 13B TII with a bigger turbo, should have atleast 220hp.

Some pictures i got from the previous owner.

It is the original paint, except for the hood(custom scoop).
The last owner made both front and rear strut brace, so they are one of a kind.

The pictures are from the build so the cardboard box isn't there and the front strut is.

I'm from Bodø/Nordland, Middle of norway more or less. My car was imported from USA in 1987.

And we drive on the right side of the road.

Since i'm about 6,2 sunroof was never a option since i need the ekstra space
+ Sunroof on a 80's car is just one more thing to go wrong, rust, leak and so on.

By driving light do you mean "city" light as with JSpec FTP's?

If so, I have a suggestion. Wet sand your current FTP's to remove the pealing clear coat. Finish with 2000 grit, then polish with plastic polish. Throw some wax and your pretty well good to go. THEN, purchase a pair of CIBE EuroSpec headlight lenses with the CityLight incorporated.

That way, you get the best of both worlds. City Light shining through the FTP's giving same effect as JSpec FTP's. And you retail the FTP function otherwise.

Pretty car. Enjoy her and (as IceMark would always say) Drive Well.

The J-SPEC FTP lamps are on their way from Corksport,

HOZZMANRX7
The car don't have any FTP's at the moment, they have been removed by a previous owner, most likely due to damage.

I'm going to get either a Greddy FMIC or the knockoff version of Greddy.
I can afford to buy the Greddy one, but being a college student my resources are somewhat limited and i can't justify spending 800$ more on an fmic kit just to have a Greddy stamp on it, so is the quality/performance of the Greddy one worth the 800$ price difference?
