you put a red sealant on the exhaust manifold gasket? what kind is that?

i need to update this thread, engine bay is painted white and looks soooo much better. tranny is back from the rebuild shop it feels right..... haha new syncros bearings and seals. i need to figure out what im going to do about my worn out short shifter. and the engine mount came in today.

i should be good to put it all back together and break it in.

where did you get the tranny rebuilt and how much was it?

 

250 for rebuild, 220 for syncros and bearings and seals

 

 

made a heat shield. and my race car buddy hooked me up with some kick *** blue header wrap we got it to go around the o2 senor hole and every thing. also slapped the upperintake and throttle body on with some more allen head bolts for a test fit.
engine is going in soon!

 

so how much did this build cost yah?

 

$20,000 in labor for sure. luckly i allready had the turbo, hks mani, and tial products and my exhaust. the haltech after its broken in is what is going to suck money.

looks great dude. I am glad to see that you went with ss line for the turbo oil drian. My push-lock line had to be replaced and knudged slightly over cause it was bareley resting on the exsht manifold and was burning it. I am glad I caught it...scary.

he lines arent really done. the bottom you can pretty much see. and the top is a banjo fitting with a hardline going to the ss line with a fitting inside it.

so i was at rallys parking lot about to leave and a car has the blinker on getting ready to turn into the parking lot this driver instead floors the car 10ft away from me SMILES and hits me floored and doesn't let up. i stayed on the bike for 5ft then hit a curb and got smashed under a pt cruiser. i immediately got up and ran or limped fast across to the mcdonalds( thinking this guy was going to come back to get me again ) a buddy i knew helped me out and i was sent to the hospital. i have tons of road rash and a extremely swollen leg and a frractured ankle. i am lucky to be alive .

the driver is in jail. he had no license and was not in his own car. i have been told he is not right in the head. honestly i think he was trying to kill me.

i have not seen my honda but my dad says theres nothing left it was drug under the car into the pt crusier and crushed into the curb.


Edit: the guy walked off and is not in jail.........
