you blew your engine because you painted the calipers blue..............instead of having them powdercoated black............
nah anyways, SUPER clean s4, im mildly jealous until i remember its an s4.
good luck on the rebuild, you should have the housings and irons powdercoated.
heres a 13brew that i powdercoated for my buddy
oh ya, mild street port intake, race port exhaust

why dont you ship them to me, ill pc them, ill ship them back, youll be ready to go.
pm me for paypal address LOL
and that engine took me about a week to do. the blue was baked 3 times, the black only once. but everything had to be prepped.
its a candy blue on a chrome base with clearcoat (all powdercoat) and the black is a wet black, looks SOOOO awsome in person. i just used a porting sandbit to try to clean up the really rough exterior of the iron, it was a lot harder than i thought it was going to be.

worked on the car sunday made some progress got the intercooler, turbo, mani, wastegate, bov, and down pipe off. when the waste gate came off i shook it and a piece of the apex seal fell out later i got my head inside and examined the apex seals 2 are still there one is missing 1/2 of the seal but the rotor doesn't look banged up at all. Monday i drained all of the fluids.

Engine will be out tomorow !
just tranny bolts holding it in now ( tranny will be rebuilt to. the oil was full of brass plus 5th gear syncro is bad )
QUESTION
do i need these pipes and ECT.. really looks like **** and is a pain in the ***. can i just run individual lines for fuel and omp?

Very well, if you ever do a motor on the cheap and rebuild it with used seals, you want to make sure the used seals are in the same groove you took them out of. I also know a man named Daryl Drummond who can lap your cast iron housings.
