thanks for the complements everyone. The last autox of the season was today and i co drove a buddys miata turbo, so much fun ! i was within a half a second of the owner i also won the costume contest and got my entry fee back. Next season will be about getting rid of as much understeer as possible and dialing in my handling.

Still alive
It has been a long time since i updated this thread. I tried to remember everything i have done to the car since the last update. I added a super nice set of GC camber plates, cusco front and rear strutbars and a lower arm brace. I also picked up a cool old momo wood wheel from a friend. If I think of any more mods i will be sure to add them later. Basically since i joined the military the car has been in storage and driven occasionally on nice days. I bought a miata to DD, now have the funds and desire to get the old rx7 where I want it to be.

The first step was dropping the rear diff to find out where a hellacious clunk was coming from and to replace a wheel bearing. Well.... turns out i replaced everything in sight while i had it out.
- MS R diff mounts
- MS f diff mount
- new wheel bearings and seals
- new mazdaspeed dtss eliminator
- new prothane C arm bushings
- painted everything and POR 15 the Diff
- installed a pinion snubber
- urethane filled subframe mounts

Update! I have been terrible at updating my build thread but I wanted to document everything before I start forgetting what I have done.
Engine:
- I bought a haltech PS1000 and had the harness built by LMS-EFI.
- Mounted the haltech in the stock location using the factory brackets
- Made a new intake (ugly MAF is gone!)
- Installed Aeromotive FPR, fuel injectors cleaned, new fuel filter, new walbro 255hp
- S5 TB with TPS
- New A/C compressor
- Dyno tuned by Jacob Cartmill made 292whp and 240wtq (pretty good for a complete odd ball turbo!)

The rx7 is probably about to come out of her winter slumber. I worked this winter on making a radio delete panel that also functions as a tablet mount. I spent too much time on it but I am really pleased with how it turned out. I really wanted to get an eye on my coolant temps, iat, and oil temps before I start running the car hard this season.
The inside of the car is really starting to look how I want it to. I will probably delete the boost gauge and install the wideband into the glove box for a clean look.
I hope to install a lighter weight corksport exhaust that I got for a steal, as well as fixing some frame rail damage that a stupid towing company caused years ago.

What size intercooler pipe you have going past the power steering pump? I'm trying to avoid getting rid or power steering cause I can't find a pipe that will give better figment than the one I have now.

It is a 2.5" pipe that I slightly crushed in a vice to create the clearance I needed. It worked great, I am with you regarding keeping the ps pump.
