thanks man. i need to stop being lazy and take some pics and update this thread. fmic is mounted and a few pipes have been run. but i was on hold because i couldnt find a dam 45 deg silicone coupler i tried to get some from cx racing and a few other places but i just ended up being pissed and yelling at china men. anywho JOHN DEER has rad hoses that is nearly identical to the 45 deg silicone coupler. it was perfect. also i have NEW WHEELS haha yay. i dont like my current ones bc there dry rotted and are curbed to hell and make me look like i cant drive. i went smaller in size but got them for a steal. guess what they are ?

well i just relized that i totally for got to take pics of my FMIC while taking pics of my new wheels but i will once its finished.

no more donks !

they are FD wheels that are mint! unfortunately the light color i didn't think looked well with the car so painted them a graphite color. it looks really good and feels factory smooth ! i love the way it looks with my polished dust guards and blue calipers. I HAS MEAT ! 16/50/245 on the back and 16/50/225 on the front. it looks SOOOO much more aggressive from the rear. i am running 25mm spacers in the rear and 20mm spacers on the front, hubcentric. i havent drove the car anywhere besides around the block so i will update how it feels later

but here are the pics of the wheels !

scrawny

Meaty

( yes i know it would look better a inch or so lower but that time will come, it has way less gap than before so im happy )

i need 2 more center caps if you know where some are pm me !

thanks bro, today it was sunny out and i fell in love with these wheels even more. and yea honestly im boosting a tad here and there but not anything over 4psi or so and not into higher rpms where theres problems with timing. just enough to get up and moving. fmic is very close to being done. and then its just rtek, injectors, sparkplugs, and tune. i think.

well. ive been working on the car all night and am about done wrapping up the Fmic install. i went with a cx racing piping kit and the intercooler i got for free. the intercooler is mounted using a stainless bracket that runs across the top of it. it sits right in front of the power steering cooler lines and fits perfect for what i wanted. no bumper cutting and it isn't super visible from the front.

oh and the TB elbow cam in today. i was pissed when i realized it wasn't greddy i got fooled haha. but that explains why it was cheaper, it makes for a cleaner look i think.

and the turbo side is done also its just not on in the pics.

picked up some more parts this weekend a full s5 swap. moldings with lights, front and rear bumpers, fog lights, and s5 turbo II side skirts. i think it will look great once it is all painted and such. it is all in great condition besides the front bumper which is chipping everywhere and has like 9 coats of paint on it.

pics when i get around to it lol

and i will be sending the ecu out sometime in the next few days to Rtek.

So its been a long *** time since i updated this thread but ive come this far in recording my cars journey so im not going to stop now.

all that s5 TII areo is sitting in the basement haha. if you want it pm me, some of it is primed some of it is red. the s4 has grown on me, and the s5 just looks like a chubby version of my car. the most i might do is a half front bumper or something.

i got the rtek 2.1 installed along with some marren 1000cc secondaries, and have been tunning the car myself. it has been going pretty well and i have somewhat of an idea as to what im doing. im not sure if its the streetport or what but this new setup on 10 psi feels like the old engine before it blew at 15psi.

went to dggrr and had a blast ! got 3rd place in the fc class. the turbo died on the dragon though... Once i got home i pulled the turbo and bought a rebuild kit to fix it. it was pretty much cake rebuilding it, and had the car back up to snuff in 2 days.

as of now the car is running great but needs some paint love, my clear coat is almost completely gone off the roof and my father backed into the the front bumper on my graduation day... its just due time for a paint job. im thinking mazda CWP like on the new 3's. also i have some braking problems with the front caliper and a sticky e- brake. just need to fix the brakes and make it out to the next autox event.

I love the progress! I watched this thread when you first got that car and it's cool to see how far it's come. The wheels look great and all the mods look awesome! Very impressed!
