cool build, putting a lot of work into the small things that im too lazy for lol.. my pedals where also lacking the rubber covers and i didnt mind until my feet got a little wet.. if you get tired of it go to a skateboard shop and ask for some scrap pieces of grip tape. easy to install and unistall if you dont like or it wears out..

I was thinking about the skate tape but I can manage with water on my soles. I ran them without the pads in thw winter and was fine even with the snow so it should be okay.

So I was doing some thinking today in shop class... How would a 13B N/A build work out if I used the RX-8 10:1 rotors and e-shaft and counterweights in the 13b 6-port? I would also port the intake and exhaust a bit and go with the ITB set-up. I know that's a TON of money to be spending on it, but I figure with the car being a DD as well as an auto-x project it could have some nice results. Also it's not something a lot of people due (because of the cost:power ratio). I like being different, but also like proving that being different doesn't always have to be bad. So I would just like to hear thoughts/comments/concerns for this as It is something I am seriously considering. Thanks guys!

I wish you still had that shell sitting around, i cant tell you how long ive been searching for another one. Oh well though, I'm going tube frame up front. I'll just need the bolt hole specs as well as the lengths of everything up front from somebody who has a not smashed front. I know its a PITA, but I can't even express how thankfull id be of whoever did that for me. I'd probably send them cookies.

I have good and secret news. I will soon be rolling again, RockAuto is already sending me my water pump again, and if you can guess what I am doing to get myself back on the road, then i will send you sticker of your choice (under $5 :P) for free. But you have to guess right.

There could be a possible few times you have to answer right, but you can guess as many times as you want until I reveal that you are right and then after it is completely figured out, I will reveal the winner of the big $5 sticker reward!

If you get it right off the bat, then.you're just a stalker and will recieve whatever sticker i send you

the car donating the parts will mostly be my S4 sport, and a few of the S4 gxl parts as I start swapping things over from the sport.

I actually like what you've done with the interior. I have been considering that... I just wasn't sure how it would be with all of the noise.

So, you're swapping everything to the 88 GXL?

@dwb87: yes, everything is going go the gxl. And honestly Idk about the noise as much as I do cold. I drive my car through winter and I feel as though the interior would be a lot colder during the winter months. I'll be keeping the interior of my gxl most likely.

@Robbycarrion: thanks man, honestly people ask me all the time why don't i just give up on it, and the simple answer is because I refuse to give up on it.

Yo REAmemiya_Fan, while your oil cooler is out... Can you measure the oil cooler bypass valve on the bottom for me? I just need to know what size wrench or socket to use. (The big hex-head on bottom of the oil cooler.)

Well its bigger than anything we have in the shop, tried both a 23mm and a 1 1/8. Both were too small. I woukd say probably a 25mm.

I live on Vancouver Island in BC. No emissions are needed, but I feel bad for people driving behind me getting shot with flames and 94 octane fumes lol

Yeah... Not talking about the drain plug, though. Oil cooler bypass valve.

Nevermind. I tried to get my caliper down there today without removing the under tray. Seems to be either a 29 or 30.

Anymore progress REAmemiya_Fan? Anymore pics??
