Okay guys, went and checked out the 7 today, and it was awesome. We agreed on $2100 with a full tank of gas, I hope it's worth it. The body needs some DIY because of some rust problems, but nothing that cant be fixed with a good cut-and-weld. Paint is also not as good as it seems in the pictures, but a good buff/wash/wax can't take care of.
First off, the car starts literally within 1/2-3/4 of a second, idles very smoothly and at 750 rpm, no leaks of any sort, new shocks with alignment, new rad, the plastic thermostat neck looks pretty new, sunroof opens with no assistance, antenna works, clock and all electronics work no problem, not really a value-increasing item (but one that I adore) was the IMSA/GTU RX-7 sticker on the rear window. I think I fell in love at that point. Even better is that it is sitting at our regions SCCA official's (one of em) house, so I got to meet them and see some cool projects as well.
Bad points though are: needs new tires and the alignment on the FR shows signs of positive camber so I'll have to have that corrected, the rust, exhaust leak between the pre and main cat flange, desperately needs trans mounts, and needs the shifting assembly rebuilt since it looks like it was never done before. Felt real bad vibrations in the shifter and clutch pedal anything over 4.3k rpm, so I jacked the car up to look underneath and the trans bushings were just yuck!
Anyway, here are some pictures, and I will have it soon after I sell my GXL to some kid during the week. Let me know what you think of the find!

I didn't have much of a choice because it was the only good one in my area and I needed to get a new daily driver fast as it had been almost a year since I had one.
