Yes please send Kerebrus the molds for the inner door cards. I would love a set of those on my car.

Looks and sounds good. Sounds like you might have an exhaust leak?

Its getting that sound because the thin pipes I used in the exhaust manifold..
I thought the same my self, but after I've checked, it turns out to come from the pipes in the manifold..

Yes i did.. was a trip outside the track into the sand.. And you dont really understand how thin the CF parts on this car is before you try hold one your self..

I'm not kidding when i say that you can look through them if you hold them up to the light.

One layer of CF is thin..

Have you had the car weighed? It would be interesting to see how many pounds you've shaved.

Oh I know how thin 1 layer is ... doesn't do much at all besides hold its shape. One thing you could consider though is just reinforcing the bottom edge. I did that with my fiberglass bumper and has taken alot of abuse and no cracking in there just scuffs

I have weighed the car now.

The weight is 1100kg. I'm quite satisfied with this weight, if your'e thinkin' about the extra rotor/ rotor housing.. the turbo and accesories to it. The subframe from the Rx7 turbo II. The bigger brakes. Drivetrain is more heavy than original, to be able to handle the 20b..

But sure, wouldn't been any problem shaving of more weight either, but then the car starts to be unsafe, things will start braking due to material fatique etc...

Man, I haven't checked out this thread since early '08 (back when you painted the inside of the chassis and made the first molds of the fenders), and I have to say this car has come a long way! Great job, and it looks amazing!

I was on a completely different forum (not related to RX7s) and a guy posted a photo-thread from a drift event, and as I scrolled down, I saw this!

Name: P5317951.jpg

So I figured I'd post it up. Any updates on the car?
