My project
Put together my second motor this weekend. So now i've got 1 motor i spare for the season.
My friend Sindre (Sindregutt) comed over and helped me with the build, and also made a mold out of his hood scoop..
Some pictures from the build.

Here it is finished and put on the shelf, ready for beein' used.

And then I have some pictures from Sindre making a mold of his hood scoop..
Putting on some realease film

Then some gelcoat

Here it is done.. waitng for it to harden.

Got me a different front bumper now, turned out to be to expensive to buy one from the states with Airfreight to norway, costed $900 just for the shipping.
So talked with my friend Sindre, (sindregutt), and got a front bumper of his FC drifting car.
Gonna make this one fit my car and make a mold of this one, then make it in CF.

haha.
I'm gonna work a lot with the lines on this bumper, to make it look more like an FB.
Try to take away some of the FC look of it.
The reason for this bumper is not for the look on the car, but for functionality.

I was planning to get that same front bumper but I didn't want to purchase sideskirts with it. Unfortunately that front bumper doesn't line up with the stock bottom sides of the car so the drop is a lot and it doesn't look as great. My only reason for not buying :/
I agree, wouldn't look very good on a stock FB, but it lines up pretty good with my grpB side skirts.
And after todays work on it, I've get removed a lot of the FC look on it, looks more like an FB part now.

This is a good example of how much lower it is and doesn't line up across.. my old front kit lined up perfectly without side skirts that why I loved it.

Well, if I could even purchase grpB side skirts I might consider buying the front kit but I doubt that's a possibility

Well, I got the GrpB side skirts. So they're possible to get..
And the line up, yes, i know the front end is lower than the side skirts, but that is with purpose, there is no problem to make them line up if I wanted.
But when doing racing as i do, you want the front end to be lower so the air doesn't goes down under the car, but you want a bigger opening under the car further back. This is beacause the airflow out the back then makes a small suction under the car, which makes the car stick better to the track.
This is also the reason for the inverted scoop i have on my hood as well, so the air that goes thru the coolers in the front dont builds up a pressure under the car, but takes it way up and out of the hood again..
