hey mate. your work is top of line. with those flush mount headlights would you consider making fiberglass and carbon fiber ones for sale. Just the headlight housing with no lights. im sure there is a good markit there for them.

Did some tuning on the computer today, so now its running at idle, and running clean all the way up to 9000rpm.

The motor is running a little rich, i have around 11,5 afr at idle and 12,3 at higher rpm's

But better to be rich than poor

Will probably take the car on the road for first time this weekend.
With no windscreen and outside paintjob though, beacause i want to check that things works before i finish the car off.

Got the exhaust pipe, and the radiator fan on today as well, car is realy comming together now..

My plan is to go to the track and drive on the biggest meet of the year, and this meet finds place in a month from now, so have to spend my time well on the car nowadays

Are those brake lines copper or do they just look copper? I'm pretty sure copper brake lines are illegal around here, cause they can't withstand the pressure of the braking system. Or is it that copper nickel alloy stuff that is strong as steel and corrosion proof.

 

Its a copper nickel pipe I use on my car yeah..

I have been working on this car for 1.5 year now..

 

I haven't adjusted anything on the car yet, have to put everything together first:P

 

question what flare kit was it before you started the cf set ?

 

I had the stock fenders.. then i got my finger onto a GrpB kit that was in realy bad shape, so i made them up, maked them look the same on both sides and maked CF fender out of that

 

those fenders have the sideskirts to right ?

 

Yeah, but I'm gonna make them out of titanium sheets, just for fun..

been thinking of CF, but more cool with CF fenders, and Titanium side skirts

 

hmm for the life of me i can't find that kit looked at mariah and mazdacomp but they don't look like those

 

Hehe, its not easy to get this kit, not if you want one that fits to the car and looks the same on both sides..

 

FINALY the problem with the gerabox is found, it was the input shaft that didn't fit perfect on to the splines in the clutch disk, but have now changed the input shaft in the gearbox, and bought a new clutch disk that are made to fit together..

Changed the shaft today, and will probably also get the gearbox into the car again tonight..


Have also painted the CF on the car now, with clearcoat, mat...
