Im tempted to do a 99’spec front end and some wheels/tires lowering springs. Things I can easily return to stock by keeping the factory parts. Otherwise no big plans other than sell it in 10 years for the deposit on my next house.

You will need 4 people to carry the ramps into the garage. They are heavy, 2 people won’t be able to handle it. Took about 3 hours to assemble. I had a few guys helping me that have assembled 3 or more of these so I was just slowing them down.

New rear caliper leaked even worse than the one I took off. Had to replace oring
getting nipple welded on hot side IC yesterday for the boost controller.
Car
getting car tuned tomorrow and the tuner prefers that I don't use washer fluid for my water meth. So I'm using Boost juice. Not as readily available but my set up won't use much so it will last a month or more with as much as I drive. Will buy a case and keep it handy
without a Boost reference the turbo wanted to spool out of control. Luckily that's fixed now. But it hit 24 psi for a second. Yikes!
musical cars as I work on the CYM on the lift to get it ready for the Dyno tomorrow

Some updates. Not sure why my photos aren't wanting to post. Guess we will see how this goes. switched to posting from Flickr since PB is toast.
Dynoed the car a week ago. Unfortunately my ACT street Strip clutch could not hold the power on the high boost (22-24 psi) pulls. I ordered the next one up. ACT Xtreme Street Strip.
On lower boost the car made 386hp (16 psi) Once it was up high it was showing 414hp but think the clutch was slipping because my first pull on the street in 4th gear and the clutch wouldn't hold.
My old clutch was either worn or too much power. Will find out Saturday when me and the boys swap it out. I will get some Vbox data and figure out how much power it's making.
Shot of me on the dyno.

I had hoped to run a large catch can that would be legal (1 quart) but the one I had bought does t look like it will fit or look right. I bought this dinky Racetronix 6oz one for now until I can get the expansion piece they are going to make.
Here it is with a Solo cup.
all stocked up on fluids
picked up a Mazda Pilot bearing puller for the clutch job Saturday. Got it from Atkins
I believe I finally fixed my rear caliper that was leaking. My dog was missing me. She is a 17 1/2 year old Jack Russell so I brought her into the garage to hang out while I worked.

Looking good, Mike. We all get the pleasure of quality pictures here too, LOL!
Is that a single port non-vented catch can?
Mine is smaller than a soda can and I haven't tried to drain mine since I installed it before tuning. I'm not expecting much oil to be in there because every time I look at my oil cap it is not "filmy", both sides of my blocks are vented, you might want to look into a second line to a vented breather tank from the secondary turbo oil drain block off plate. You could probably do up something much fancier than mine!

I currently run a vented Gatorade bottle lol. Nothing worth seeing. 😁
I plan to install this in the next few days. I get the rest of the fittings I need today or tomorrow.

I took my car out tonight and the weather was nice and cool. I put it on low boost for some runs against a buddy in his Whipple SC Mustang. I brought my Vbox along to grab some Data.
My car was pretty much Even with the mustang until about 100mph and he would be pulling away. I think it would be closer and maybe edge him on high boost. Right now the clutch is slipping on high boost but the data I pulled had some interesting metrics.
without getting too specific my 30-60mph, 40-80mph 1/8 mike trap speed we’re all faster in my CYM than my LS3 Swapped CW. Slightly faster. I only ran the car at 16/17 psi tonight and it’s already faster then the LS3/T56 swap FD I owned for a few years.
Whats interesfing is my Dyno numbers were lower than my LS3 Dyno numbers. Just shows that Dyno numbers don’t mean a whole lot. Vbox data and track data Trump all Dyno numbers,
btw for those who really want to know my 1/8th mile trap speed was 92.7mph. Anyone want to gauge a guess at the actual HP from that?

Jason and I replaced the clutch from the ACT Heavy Duty to the ACT Xtreme(Jehan, Jacob and Jerick helped supervise) 😁
it grabs better but haven’t put it to any real test yet.
Jason made a mount for my shot glass of a catch can (6oz). I will post some picks later this week.
The ACT Heavy Duty we took out looks almost new.
Replaced a couple brake lines. Car is pretty much ready for Test and tune this coming Sunday. Will see what kind of MPH I can get to see what kinda power it’s making.

I'm thankful my busy friends make time for me. I will be repaying the favor very soon. Fall is upon us and photoshoots shall begin in a week or two. Ideal foliage will peak soon and we always need to shoot some cars this time of year. Maybe even some family shoots.

If we get any more CYM's he will pretty much own most of them 😂

I'm looking forward to the new pics, break out the CW for a few. CYM's seem to be coming out of the woodwork for sale now, actually, just a lot of FD's in general seem to be. When I bought mine the east coast market was seemingly dry.
