NJ-JDM is taking my Tein Coilovers off my hands so now I need to replace them. Will be pulling the current Coilovers off shortly and may make a cameo in NJ-JDM's build thread helping him install the Teins on his car

I am going to a forum Vendor "SakeBomb Garage" and am getting a set of Ohlins Coilovers.

They are having a 10% sale right now on a bunch of their popular products until Aug 1st. Just use the code DYNOBABY2016
See website for details.
SAKEBOMB GARAGE LLC

I've run their AP Racing Big Brake kit on my previous FD. I will be picking up the brakes this winter.

The AWR mounts showed up and the Urethane sway bar bushings. I caught a break in the weather and removed the old Swiss cheese stock mounts. Threw these on drained the oil and called it a day.

I decided to do some engine bay scrubbing while everything was out. I have a leak from the PS hose. The 3" hose on the reservoir. The leak made a mess of the A/C compressor under it as well as the engine bay.

Been scrubbing the hell out of everything. Gotta figure out why the PS pump is leaking there. May be the hose clamps.
Fourtyounce recommended swapping them with worm clamps. I may do that.

You sir are an inspiration. I spent 20 minutes in the garage today and called it a day. Too hot/humid. I am going to pick up an airconditioner for my garage tomorrow.

Very humid out there. Went through 3 shirts lol.
Going to attempt to install the Oil coolers today. About to head out there and get started. You don't need AC! You have tropical blood flowing though those veins!

+1. Rubber should be replaced when there's access. It's cheap insurance.

Also, anyone that installs an A/C in their garage is a wimp.

It's a slippery slope to getting one of these (if you don't already have one)

ROFL! So true! I will replace that part. I've been struggling with fixing every single thing including touching up the engine bay paint.
Thanks for the part number.

Btw check this out. Maybe good for stuff like this including the trunk under the carpet that could use a refresh.
Comes in everything from aerosols to paint pens to full tri coat. I wouldn't use this on the exterior but if you wanted to try doing some light stuff on frame rails or in the trunk I can't see how you could mess it up.

Old oil coolers are off, area has been wiped down and starting to install new oil coolers. Brackets mounted up. There is a small clearance issue on the passenger side bracket with the factory tow hook. I will shave the oil cooler bracket this week before completing the install. I just need to decide which Dremel I am going to buy. So is it the 3000 model or the 4000 model that I want?

I got a bit further than this but was getting dark and wanted to take a pic of them mounted. Some of the lines have been run and oil coolers filled with fresh oil.

Not ideal, the coolers are much bigger. You'd block air to like three quarters of the coolers

Mr. Mike is going to need some custom ducting to be constructed with his fibbing skills.

Looking good buddy

Like Goodfellas said; going to fashion some custom ducts. They will be some Home Depot specials. Maybe Fourtyounce will post a pic of his for reference on how this will likely end up looking as far as the Ducts are concerned.

My buddy was able to modify the stockers for his oil coolers. His build thread is titled "Armens build thread." The pics are on the first page.

Thanks, I will take a look. Unfortunately my CYM was a base model. So it didn't have another stock Duct on the passenger side. Will see how they fit when I test the rebar and nose. May be able to make something up without too much fuss. Will see.

So in other news I have a leaking power steering reservoir and on top of that its ugly and dirty. I am looking to have an aluminum one welded up to replace it. I lose the ability to see the level but I will just have to check it more often. Mazda doesn't seem to sell just the reservoir. I am looking to somewhat replicate the RE Amemiya one. They make a Stock location version and an offset location. I am going to see if we can replicate something that will be a stock location type of replacement. I should get pricing on them this week and maybe have him make a few extra and sell them to interested parties on here.

Pulled the pump, will be dropping it off to the welder so he can make the aluminum reservoir to replace the dingy plastic one.
