Updates!!!!

Its been an interesting 6 months and I would like to catch you guys up!!!
I stated stock piling parts, thinking BNRs or Single, what oil coolers, and what my goals were at this point. I had the itch to put her on the track, but wanted to maintain as many creature comforts as possible. Cruise, PS, and AC must stay, and I'm keeping the Bose rear base tube as well. on to the pics and the fun stuff.

I stayed like this for about 2 months. then the bug bit to get interior pieces cleaned up, aero, as well as go single and keep the temps down:

This is by far the easiest turbo kit I have ever installed!!! everything was unbelievably smooth.

HOWEVER...

it was too smooth...

NOW- with all of it buton upped I took here to Rotary Performance and let Chris Ott work his magic!!!

Very nice. I like that single kit.

 

This thing spools unbelievably quick!!! I decided to sell the front mount- I miss the fog lights being on the car so I'm going a different direction

I personally think kevlar only looks good on blues and greens. (think primary colors ad what it take to get to green)

If I had silver, I would be rockin' CF or black

Had some other oil leak issues that I had to hunt down. Why Mazda made these in plastic is beyond me:








After tons of blue towels and Banzai Racing coming to the rescue, the OMP is gone and I will be getting my box of premix very soon from Rotary Performance.

Got the Driver/ passenger oil cooler parts in AND installed thanks to Howard Colman's writeup and parts list! other than that, I should be tackling the ABS delete tonight, and My fortune auto Coilovers very soon!!!

















Brackets look like chit but it's definitely solid and ready to go!

 

I just got done doing something similar with the oil coolers. I used rx8 oil cooler though.

Why did u decide on ric injectors and rp rails over FFE and IDs?

100% bolt in using factory everything, and their kit is 100% emissions compliant. Luckily I live in a non-attainment county and I don't have an emissions issue!
