what's the total cost of motec m84 setup for 3 rotor?

hey guys, I just wanted to know the true total cost of setting up m84 unit with a base tune. I ask because when I buy the latest AEM or haltech with flying lead harness for $2000 or so, it comes with absolutely everything minus CAS, so all I have to do is buy the FFE trigger system and solders. I understand that motec only comes with the ECU in the box. I'm doing all the wiring.

I also want to upgrade all the necessary sensors while I'm at it. All sensors I have are OEM including FC CAS. As for extra, I want the traction control, flat shift, individual housing knock detection, and if possible, individual rotor fuel/timing tuning with 3x EGT. I have a boost controller that I like and all the necessary gauges.

engine is 3 rotor with gt4202r turbo. coils that I have are msd blaster ss coils x6.

my primary goal is engine response and reliability, not peak power.

thanks all!

okay.. since there have been about 270 views without answer, maybe my question wasn't clear.

I'll start with what I know.
motec M84 ECU = $1700
flying lead harness with motec harness plug = $650
trigger wheel and CAS sensor = $300?
wideband = can I use my AEM wideband?
oil/fuel pressure = can I splice my defi or OEM sensors?
water/oil temp = can I splice my defi or OEM sensors?
compatible MAP sensor = ?
compatible air temp sensor = ?
compatible coils = ?
traction control "turn-on" = $200?
knock sensors = ?
compatible EGT sensors x 3 = ?
anything else I'm forgetting? is it even compatible with a 3 rotor? the brochure says it is, but hearing some first hand experience would be a lot more credible.

my injector setup is sequential fire for 3 primary and 3 secondary, and batch fire for 3 tertiaries. all are high impedance injectors.

I just don't want to start going down motec route expecting it to cost around $3k then end up spending $5-10k with people telling me suck it up, it's motec. wait months for each proprietary parts to come in from Australia only to eventually ship it to some motec expert across country to make the whole package work.

Are you the one that is going to be installing and tuning? Only reason why I am asking is because there are shops around that are dealers for Motec. They can source everything you need and also install it.

M84 doesn't have useful knock detection I found out. I hate the fact that you need to pay for "options" to be enabled for the ecu you already purchased. I priced out M84 from a motec dealer on ebay, and it was going to cost $4600+ for everything including sensors (I would have to weld on bunch of bungs). Due to lack of knock control, the dealer instead recommended 100 series which doesn't even have split timing function. what a bunch of clueless piston heads trying to sell $5k hunk of overhyped pieces of crap only a few can tune properly. Oh he then tried to sell me the M800 series ECU which was going to cost me over 10k with everything. I much rather enjoy the car on my microtech and if I ever want to switch over, it will be with a company that is on the free market, like aem or haltech.

Then don't go down it at all. Find a reputable rotary tuner in your area and ask them what ECU they prefer and why. If it sounds good then buy that one. If you're doing the tuning, get whichever you like the best that fits your needs.

If you want Motec levels of features that are all fully unlocked out of the box along with functional knock control, Syvecs has you covered. At a much lower price point as well.
