I guess only time I could possibly see it being useful is when laid flat, I could carry something bit larger and not have to worry about scratching the rear bins. Besides that, seats aren't meant for actual seats

SSM FD, I need to pull the engine out and going to put my RZ tranny and built 13B RE engine with 99 twins. When I do that, I'm also going to put all the rare MS junk on it, including the super rare CF intake.. Also, I have things worked out where I'm going to used the 99+ black box to run the twins and such. But that's going to be a while because, I have no time


MB FD, I'm going to start putting the 3 rotor on an FD subframe and start getting things ready for a swap. I'm currently talking with people about going Haltech or AEM. Also, while I'm doing that, the car will get a new face lift and more of a show show paint job.. Mainly get rid of all the waviness on the body including getting rid of the bottom rock chip finish on the door. Hopefully the car will go in the shop in couple of months.


Cosmo, I'm also going to take it in for a perfect black paint job and more updated electronics in the car. I'm a huge McIntosh audio guy and have been collecting those for about 5-6 years. I'm either going to put that in the Cosmo or get a new Navi system. But most likely just go with Mac headunit, amps, etc on the cosmo as I think it matches the 90s awesomeness I just wished I had more time...

LOL! I don't make much... like I said, I live in a cheap state and 12+ years of collecting parts makes it look like I have alot.. Also, when I decided not to smoke and drink, its amazing how much money you actually save to spend on cars.

 

so true. 6 dollars a day for cigs and 6 to 10 a day for beer adds up quick.

 

a pack a day smoker spends something like 1500 a year on cigarettes and beer is even more expensive. Glad I made that decision too, although I do drink from time to time, nothing like a beer while fishing, grilling, or working on the car.

Stronger than most out there and one of the best. Damn!!! I miss it But I've now quit for over 6 years.

Also, I never drank beer.. Just vodka on the rocks.. usually at least double distilled. Best place I went was a vodka bar owned by Baryshnikov in NYC. Damn, Now I'm going to go drink and smoke!! LOL! I do once in awhile drink.. but past 6 years, I've drank once.

 

I work in a hospital and you can pretty much guarantee that if you are a heavy smoker, you are going to have a harder time to recover. Lung cancer, emphysema is no joke. Quitting smoking is the best thing you could have ever done.

 

Eddie, I hear ya, that was one of the big reason I quit... health wise... I was a swimmer in college and picked up this bad habit during middle of my college years. Worse thing I ever did.... and one of the hardest thing to quit.. quit... I know people say they quit smoking, but its pretty much delaying the inevitable.. as even now after about 6 years, when I smell smoke, I want one.. Its just matter of time, one thing or another will lead me to pick one up and smoke it. Hence, I guess I can't quite say I quit... as I still have desire for one.

 

Well I quit about 8 years ago and now i cant stand the smell of cigs, i have no back plans to pick it back up the only thing ive picked up since i quit is 50lbs of weight

 

My mother in law says the same thing. She smells a marlboro light and she has a "urge" to take one. But she has been "free" of them for 20 years. Cigs are a baaaad habit.

 

Update...

Well, I haven't done much with cars....

I guess except to make an appointment tomorrow to swap out my front windshield on the MB FD and get the lexan put on my CF hatch.

After that, I'll be taking my Greddy SMIC and replace it with Apexi FMIC and HKS intakes. Also take the old PFC commander and put the new commander in.

 

and then order some stuff? Lots of stuff going on for you.

 

Opps... yeah.. i'm still waiting on the local guy to make his decision. I'm going to bring some stuff for him to look at maybe this sunday.

The Greddy SMIC, Custom IC duct, hard pipings, M's/ Blitz Intakes, and the CF cooling panel are forsale as a package. I'm asking $1500 for all... But most likely its spoken for. But if you are interested, let me know and I'll let you know if the deal falls through.


UPDATE:

With help of a good friend Leo, I made an appointment to swap out my 15+ year old windshield. Windshield was in decent condition but I hated the 90's style tint on the top and wanted to have a clean, well visible windshield.

A local guy name Brian who does many show/performance cars removed and installed the new window for a very reasonable price.















Bad thing was that it was pouring rain all morning and I had to drive the FD 30 mins to get to the shop. But all went well and made a huge difference on visibility. Also, my weather strips needed to be replaced and this made my car look newer.

Since I was getting this done, I also got him to do my CF hatch with Lexan window. Again, he took his time and did an awesome job. FAL recommend not to use any trim but we decided to see how it looked with the trim and looked great. So, we lined it up and sealed it.





Someone also asked me before about how the car looks with FEED lights and the LED.. So, here are couple of pics.

Car is filthy as I just drove over an hour in the rain... But MAN, did I enjoy driving this thing...
