Well I apologize for not writing down all the little detailsI have a build of my own that occupies most of my time. I think chips car is great amongst others and he seems like a rad dude..but you guys are a little ridiculous when it comes to build threads. It's as if you guys get angry if someone doesn't know exactly how he did something, or if a reader over-looked something. Build threads are looked at for more than just worshiping the builder, some people actually are interested in the hows and whys the builder did what he did. So for you guys who know everything about chips build maybe I'll start pm'ing you guys about certain questions i have about HIS car

p.s. sorry for jumbling your thread chip....just something i've noticed quite a bit lately on the forum.

I think he was joking about the detail being little because it is a massive turbo. No need to be angry

Looks great. You gotta class up that tow hook though. Looks out of place with all the high end stuff on the car.

The tow hook is a temporary, its not like i was raving about in my last post. pushing the car on the front or the rear is not an option ( Fiberglass etc.) neede something cheap and quick etc..

Here the one i made for the front, the rear will also have similar design...

Wiggin out

Kudos on the immaculate workmanship Chip. Good to know a business can survive providing impeccable service. Does your yard landscaping look this nice too?

Anyhow, just curious if you're going to whittle a v-band clamp to support that outraguous turbo out of Titanium.

Also do you know which type of premix you're planning to use?

Chip, I thought you planned to make the exhaust out of titanium? Looks great BTW.

Could you not find oval pipe?

I've seen this car in person recently and the craftsmanship is exceptional. Chip's meticulousness has you finding seemingly endless tiny details ranging from the Chipsmotorsports logo laser cut in the custom exhaust manifold to the one off branded on the gauge cluster. This is by far the nicest FD build I've seen. Keep up the great work Chip and I look forward to having you building my exhaust manifold!

Amazing work as always. Although I'm curious is the 3 WG really needed or is that the only possibly way to route them instead after the collector?

3 is boot needed. But a pp turbo engine is not ideal for forced induction brcause extreme overlap.
In other words 3 is actually minimum lol.

Back pressure is the enemy in a pp turbo engine. Hope it makes sense...

Beautiful work as always Chip! So, is the plan to run stainless steel actuation lines to your WGs? Trust me, I burned through my high temp rubber lines, but caught it before melt through and switched (luckily for me), so please consider doing this. Is the plan to coat your manifold and DP or wrap?
