Hey guys i've been on a bit of a hiatus as the school year started again.
but i do have an update finally!!
So i did a steam clean thanks to some help from mannykiller...and it did the trick!!
the seals loosened up and now i'm going to do the ATF trick to loosen any dirt, and then another steam clean for good measure...but she sounds much much better now!!

ok so shes back up and running now! engine sounds wayyy healthier after the ATF trick and steam clean
going to keep her well lubed now and put some easy miles on it now to let everything loosen all the way back up
Took her out to a local meet, it was great to be behind the wheel again
even though i didnt have my front end on lol

Glad to see it's back running. Not a mechanic for sure, but it still sounds pretty rough to me. Like a bridge ported engine but I don't think it is right?
Regardless, beautiful car and nice to see it on the road.

yup it was running rougher at that video...since then i've done the ATF trick, and then a steam clean
idle has smoothed out more since then
i'm just driving it around a bit now to try and get the seals to completely loosen up while i look for a compression tester

i'm actually weird with that though loll i like the old school taillights more than the 99s
lmao, yea man i need the 8.8 setup ASAP diff is screaming for help. After that just the interior remains and cleaning up some loose ends. Keep me posted on other big events you going to, ill makle it a point to ride down early and link up.
have you been to the dyno yet? Your engine does not sound good, but maybe its just the exhaust or camera your using.
Make sure you compression test it prior to tuning. If you have bad compression don't tune it until you rebuild it.

I pull the plugs every time i drive the car to make sure they arent wet or anything and they are bone dry. So at least i know its not running on just one rotor anymore.
I'll be doing a compression test this week, its just finding the time to do that sucks loll
yes i wont be tuning unless i have at least 95 on each face...and even thats a bit lower than i'd like
