i have to keep them on the car for sponsorship agreements, and i refuse to put any on the paint...the only one thats ok on the paint is the ones on the fenders because thats to fulfill a sponsor agreement with the body shop that did the car, so i let them put it wherever they want...and that one doesnt look too bad
That sounds absolutely horrible.
I dont understand why you dont install the motor you have laying around and be done with it. You have to dismantle that motor, or put it on the dyno and boost it to get the seal unstuck if that is the problem.

I think it might just be because of the sound quality guys...the car runs and drives absolutely fine, besides that its running ridiculously rich
every once in a while on idle it does what its doing right at the very beginning of the video which is a kind random skipping in the idle...but that only lasts about 10 seconds, and then it stops...i figured thats also cus of the crazy rich fuel mix
Is it the throaty sound that is making you guys think something isnt right?
because it is 4" piping from the turbos back
she starts up immediately, cold or hot
doesnt clunk out ever or shake or anything
idle is stable as well
vacuum isnt high enough i dont think, but i think thats cus the seal around the TB is gone, ordered O-rings for that already
runs and drives fine...
I havent pulled the motor because i have sponsor agreements for specific shows i have to fulfill before i can put the car down for any amount of time again...just about every weekend for the next couple weeks
also the apex seals arent stuck anymore...been checking the plugs regularly after driving and they are all dry
what is it exactly that you guys are hearing that doesn't sound right?

i'm going to make a higher quality video tomorrow and post it so you guys can hear that...i think it might be the sound quality from my phone that makes it sound horrible...i've had it around people that know rotaries and they havent said theres anything wrong...just that i have to do a compression test because if the compression is too low still then i should pull the motor

heres the video with better sound quality...
let me know if it was just the sound quality that made it sound so bad
also the car sounds very throaty and loud as well because of the exhaust system so pls take that into account as well

I think your in denial too man....no offense..but is it worth ruining those two turbos you just got? Pull it out, and rebuild it. Even if it's running a little better...I've seen cars run with cracked seals for thousands of miles. And they just never run "right." Wouldn't you rather just know the motor is good to go?
Well, VJ that sounds a lot better than the previous vids did. What are your AFRs at idle and then at cruise? I think it's very rich as well or at least it sounds that way.
Regarding vacuum, is that a 6 it's pulling or am I reading the monitor wrong? And if so, what are your RPMs at idle? At normal idle RPMs (around 1,000 without accessories on), you should be in the 16-18 range for a regular ported engine, or at least above 14. If I am reading this right and you are at 6 and your idle is not too low, I'd definitely get the compression checked pronto. Something's off and it might be as simple as a vacuum leak as a 6 would be really low to not have the idle bounce around.
Kilo Racing in St. Could could do this for you in a day trip, as well as tune the car if everything checks out. Jesus' number is 407.556.3971. Jesus' son is on this forum, he's kilito racing.

As you continue to use the car I think your idle will improve.
I have oddly not seen this car until now. I missed NRTG in Miami. Will you be in Orlando next weekend? I had intended on going to that one but I just got back from Formula Drift in Atlanta and really don't feel like driving again. :\
