alright guys
heres the update for today
i finally got to push the now semi color matching car together with a semi-decently sized tire
and even this semi-put together car...looking ******* insane!!!!! and the front bumper looks out of this world amazing! much better than i thought it would!!
the wheel i put on the rear is cheapy chinese POS wheel that i refuse to allowed to be seen on my car, i really can't stand having chinese cheapy knock off wheels on my car :wall bash:
but either way, its a 20x10.5 +30 with a 285/30/20 tire, i purposely used an oversized diameter wheel so i could make sure there wouldn't be any rubbing issues when the suspension travels
the wheel setup i'll be building for it at ISS Forged will be an 18x12 or 18x12.5 so you can kind of get an idea of what the difference in sizing will be
heres the pics

Car came out of the paint booth...and Miami Autoworks, my body shop, is the best freaking body shop on the planet. period.
heres pics of the car out of the booth...no wet sand....no buff...just the final layer of clear over it
now i'll be taking the fenders off...take her home, get her all started up and running, put the body parts back on...then after about a month, once the clear has properly cured, i'll bring her back to get completely wet sanded and buffed
look at the metallic and its not even outside in the sun!!!
enjoy!!

That looks amazing! Can't wait to see the whole thing put back together. At the same time, that is a 2-Pac Clear, so it would come out smooth from the booth already. If it was acrylic clear it would come out with orange peel. For 2-Pac you won't really need to cut and buff, but it would make things better. Can't wait to see that mirror-like shine!

well i'll be putting Roxy to sleep for about a week at the body shop under a nice plastic body cover to keep the dust out
going on a business trip so i'll be letting the clear cure at the body shop, then when i get back she comes back home to get all buttoned up, started and tuned...then back to the body shop to get all the body parts put on and wet sand and buffed after a month
but on a brighter note...i got my J-Magic headlights from HotWater Labs today woot woot!!! These just gota get refinished and painted now!

Thats why we call them J-Magic lights loll
I'll be using them as ram air intake ducts with tubing going to the turbos for cold air delivery
so it didn't really make sense for me to buy $1500 headlights for me not to really use them
so got these and reworked them for my needs and they came out wicked as hell!

not to mention a lot more wallet effective

for those that dont already know...we call them J-Magic headlights instead of R-Magic headlights because HotWater Labs (the place that made my headlights) is owned by Jose A.
he's the one that made the lights for Phillip and I, so we deemed them "J-Magic" lights lol
