I also have heard this from many sources....SO....... I am now running 4 EV14 injectors that I purchased from FiveO motorsports for under $500 shipped....

^ agreed. Id injectors are not the same injectors as EV14's.

My friend in Tampa has a turbo / fuel injector servicing shop and he confirmed that ID does little more than "dress up" the injectors with the fancy hats. They service thousands of injectors every year. He flow tested an ID versus a normal EV-14 and the results were identical.

Yes, when you buy a set of injectors from ID, they do match dead times, but you can request EV-14s with matched dead times when purchasing from other sources as well.

I know lots of people running the non-ID EV-14s in their high-horsepower cars. Never heard any complaints or problems.

Thanks for all the advice and heads up on the injectors.. I ended up getting another pair of ID1000's.

All in all i spent less than $400 on 4 of them.. So I cant really complain.

As for the fenders, i got them on. just need a bit of cleaning up and finishing touches and should be ready to paint..

Also I will be selling my NSX lights and going a different route..

so i got my other 2 id1000s in.. and I couldnt be happier, because all i need now is some AN fittings and im set to go for the fuel set up..

BUT.....

today I found out my motor needs a rebuild....

I originally started with the intentions of taking off my turbo set up to get my manifold modified so that the turbo doesnt sit so close to the LIM..

You can see how much room i have towards the strut to move the turbo.

After removing the turbo, you can see were the vband hits the LIM. hence why i wanted to get the flange modified so that the turbo sits further away from the LIM.

\

And this is were the fun began...

Upon removing the turbo i noticed a hint of gas and coolant..

I took a look inside the manifold and saw fluid.. That caught my attention immediately.

I started loosening the turbo manifold, and coolant started dripping out.. As soon as I removed the manifold a gush of fluid came out..

I cranked the engine over by hand, and gushes of water came out. almost like a water hose was open in my engine.( which would explain why my coolant would disappear).

so now I need to take the motor out, rebuild it and hope the irons are good and not cracked..

enjoy these gay *** pictures of fail...

You can see water pouring out...

HOW THE **** DOES THIS HAPPEN!?!?

Enjoy this fail.

Jeez man, sorry to see this sht. If it's not one thing it's another. Just stay positive! At least this gives you the opportunity to build it yourself. I'll be down in a couple months and we'll start 'em up together.

Bummer dude, like blackadde/// said gives you a chance to build the motor exactly how you want it. In the long run you'll end up with a great motor.

Love the style of the body due. Will look sick once its all finished.

Thanks Gordon.

Thankfully i found another motor im picking up that has blown water seal. Going to use the best of motor motors and build one solid motor.. Hopefully everything is still usable on both motors..

Also plan on piecing together another rebuild kit. and build it like the RE I had.

Had time to crack open my series 7 engine.. This thing was super filthy and full of carbon... but no signs of major wear on the rotors or housings and irons.. so not bad at all.. not too sure about the discoloration on the the E-shaft though..

******* filthy and covered in carbon...

not to sure if this is good or bad for the eshaft being a bit discolored..

more filth

not much wear on the irons..
