Thank you. I'm still in the process of deciding which wheels and other parts to get.
It'll be a "slow progress project" starting next month. So, I'm trying to figure a few things out ahead of time - when the time comes (probably next few weeks), I will start a project thread of my own.

Alright so I been slacking on updating this thread and working on the fd.... its mostly due to lack of time due to work, and spending a lot of time on my FC.

so since I took apart the series 7 motor, I ended up ripping out my motor the fd on march 8th..

obligatory interior shot haha

so a few days after pulling my motor, I went to my friends house to take apart my motor to see what the hell happened with it.

once I took apart both motors and compared them both looked pretty god damn good, everything is still usable on both motors..

(fd stock pile)

A day after that, I got a call from my mentor telling me he was done with the rotary game and gave the greatest deal ever for all his rotary stuff and his turbo fc...

I ended up picking everything up a few days later..

heres the FC how i got it when i picked it up(minus the wheels, he kept those).

I got a spare rebuilt t2 engine, tons of rotary parts and other motors.. among other goodies.

**** was filthy under the hood, after sitting for 3 months .... im still working on cleaning the engine bay up(**** is a wiring nightmare.)

partial view of the **** that just there now..

also got this with the parts.. rotary 3 face digi compression tester.

Back to the FC.

The whole deal with the fc with me was, i just wanted to make it super reliable and fun to drive everyday.

which in fact it has been., but at the cost of the fd suffering a bit...LOLOLOL

(break down on the fc set up)

13BT rebuilt with (7k miles on it)

haltech e6k .

Stance coil overs, mazdatrix tie rods, grenade gx01 17x9 +15, rpf1's 17x10 +18, oem t2 lip, oem jdm rain visors, aero mirrors, foresight roof wing, modified rocket bunny duck bill, jdm FTPs, jdm front bubble markers, jdm fog lights, bride seat, aem wideband, and other ****..

(both ladies meeting for the first time )

I ended up throwing my spare fd jdm floor mat, spare nardi, drift button, and other **** i had spares of into the fc.

including a Bride seat I pulled out of my friends RHD FD

this thread sucks.

and the only thing that could make this thread worse is buying and an FC and modding that.

and on top of that you are working on your friends FD and not your own.

You suck to the 3rd degree.

The only thing about building rotaries is you have to have a sports car to drive while your building rotaries cause they never run for long

haha thanks dude..

small updates.....

instead of rebuilding my motor, I traded one of my space cores for a re-man 94 motor.. with around 40k miles on it.. I pulled the motor out of my friends running motor who decided to go LS1...

also picked up some awesome authentic d-max front fenders to match the rears...also got some shine auto canards..

finding sweet deals is awesome....

so with those baby updates, getting the motor.. it looks like ill have the fd up and running again real soon... so stay tuned

i also installed a greddy fmic on my fc...
