I'm curious how the t56 bolts up to the rear plate, is there a thread out there about it?
also, what you said about the dyno's isn't quite accurate. A mustang dyno is a loaded dyno that is supposed to simulate the loads that a car will experience on the street. It's not set up to read conservatively less, in fact, it's more accurate, and as most people will attest, better for tuning. and it can be anywhere from 5-25% less than a dynojet. (usually 10-20 but there have been cases of more.)
You'll probably be well above 700 hp at the motor tho. In fact you're probably over it now, figure in 15% loss on the mustang dyno and 15% drivetrain loss (average estimates) and that puts you around 720 .

On a different but similar note, I rode in a ~1963 Bug Eye Sprite with a highly modified factory motor (~125 up from a factory ~45) that was bolted to a TII trans. Just had a ~2.5" thick adaptor plate. It's pretty easy to do.

David, have you made a full throttle pull in 4th gear to 8000 rpm? Supposedly a great way to strip the teeth off the gear in a single turbo 20B
edit: I remember Carlisi was very careful in the upper gears with his setup. It was a balancing act between traction in the lower gears and keeping the driveline together in the others.

That's one thing I like about the 996 Turbo, those things are built like a tank.

Din't redyno just yet. Had Jesus focus on getting together the headlights and other small things including re-wiring the fuel pumps. One is on at idle and the other now comes on at 5 lbs. of boost. Works great. Jesus made each fuel pump clip the same so I can swap them to change which one is on all the time - a bit of a manual pump saver.
After the photo shoot I am taking the car back to Kilo to pull the turbo and have it inspected. It's leaking oil so hopefully it will just be a seal or at least that is what Jesus thinks. We'll then redyno at that time, in a few weeks.
The car does look great though. The headlights turned out fantastic (still waiting on the shrouds - see my other thread on this) and me reupholstered seats look and smell utterly great. I am going to post up a new thread on these as they are top quality at a good price.
More to come!

Hey man! Thanks for asking. It's on the car and I asked for Jesus at Kilo to try to get it to fit but he hasn't done it yet. He'll need to maneuver it around the position of the fuel rails to see. In any event, it doesn't move but it just doesn't velcro shut.
I'll take some pics later and post them up. FYI - Jesus really like the shield and thinks it's a good idea.

I'm not sure what the difference between a LIM heat shield and a turbo blanket. I alway looking for something to help with underhood heat.

Photo Shoot Time!
A quickie update. Scottie (Punished) drove up from Tampa this weekend and came over with Chris (redrx7) to do a photo shoot of my car. We fought the rainy elements off long enough to take some pics yesterday and I want to say a big "thank you" to the two of them. I had a great time and hopefully got some nice shots.
I've lived in Jacksonville for a long time and have always wanted to take pics in two locations, on the board walk on the beach in front of the old life guard station in Jax Beach and rolling shots on our suspension bridge, the Dames Point Bridge. After talking the life guards into allowing us to drive the car on up the board walk, we pulled both off as well as getting some good shots in one additional location.
Probably the coolest thing for me is getting asked what year the car is and to respond "it's a 1994", only to have people try to correct me by saying, "you mean 2004 right?" The timeless beauty of the FD is remarkable.
I'll post up a link to the photo shoot pics when I get one but for know, where are a few pics I took of Scottie shooting the car and Chris looking on:
