Yes, both sides are like that. I have the heat shield on the turbo side and it didn’t matter… they failed the same.
Also I made sure they weren’t too tight.

It may have just been a bad batch of poly or something. That is super uncommon.

IRP responded to my PM last week and told me to contact the shop to discuss my options.
I wanna say thank you and I appreciate their response but I have decided to just move on and try some different motor mounts.
Also the next Aces Rotary Meet is Oct 9th
If you’re local to Orlando then it’s always a great time 👍

This thread is a good example - use the right parts, do it right, and you have an awesome car that you can drive every day and enjoy and not worry about it.

Very very nice choice of wheels for a SSM.
Matches well, I also like the contrast of the gunmetal on the lighter silver!
Not sure what the heck is going on with those Motor mounts...
I picked up some Himni Racing Polyurethane motor mounts and I like them

^Thank you Sir!
Yeah i really like the contrast of the wheels against the silver 👍
Not sure what the deal was with the mounts either… maybe they are just a wear item… who knows.
This time I’m trying out the Banzai Racing street motor mounts and no issues.
Pleased with them so far…. we’ll see how long they last.

Boost weather soon……….
Picking my son up from Bball practice.
Weather is cooling off here in Florida….. 70s is much better than 90+ temps 👍
Boost weather is around the corner 😈

Beautiful shot. Really captures the locality!
Subtle shadow patterns really capture surface areas on the car;
Such as the slightly bulged curve from the top of the wheel well running into the combination light and around the bull nose creating a sense of an overhang under the combo-light.
Colorization of the panel behind the brake duct vent gives a sense of speed and the light is catching the slight sow-belly forms on the lower edge.
Rarely, the light also emphasizes the rotary symbol in the lower front air intake.
Angle of shot clearly shows the roof depression feature.
Calendar worthy take, I must say.

We have had an acorn boom this year, perhaps because of the heat wave this summer. On a windy day, a few weeks ago, I got caught in an acorn shower.
They sounded like stones hailing down.
Looked into the insurance and learned that the insurance company would apply the deductible ($300) to each ding.
Had the body shop look it over, and no acorn induced dings were found. Yeah!
About 5 years ago I had a ding specialist spend 8 hours on the car removing 20 years of life in narrower places (Japan).
He did a wonderful job.
Only picked up two cherry pit size dings since then, But this summer with the heat, I think some of the prior dings rebirthed themselves on the surface
Time for a touch up!
