I like the wheels but the white center doesn't work well with a silver car. Paint looks REALLY good in this picture!

A/C..... 1 year update
It only getting warmer here in Florida, we're in the 90"s today
So this weekend I rented a A/C vacuum pump/manifold from Auto Zone and went ahead with getting the a/c working again since the swap.
Vacuum pump...
Manifold...
Pulling a vacuum..
Break time while i wait...
Took a couple hours but well worth it.... very happy with the results.
Went for a drive it was in the 90's outside and I was seeing 38-40 degrees coming out of the vent.

Still blows cold, this is at idle, fan speed on #1 and sitting in the driveway with the hood closed.
Temps drop to around 40degrees while cruising.
Still very happy with the results using a RX-8 condenser, custom lines & 134.

Looking good Steve, those are great A/C results after a year!
How is the RX8 DBW throttle working out for you? I've got a GM LS-something DBW in mine, which is a 90mm plate IIRC, so I'm curious how the RX8 unit compares and works overall. My GM unit is working just fine now, but it took a little bit of trial & error tweaking of the E-throttlel PID parameters in the Link G4+ ECU to get it just right, especially after I turned on the cruise control by DBW features. Seems that when cruise was engaged, there was a bit of instability/oscillation (TPS main & secondary response would lag behind the rate at which the throttle was actually changing its position), so that would cause the Link DBW safety lockouts to intervene and put me in limp home mode. The Link support engineers on their forum reviewed my logs and walked me through tweaking the PID settings, so all is good now.

Nice insight on the DBW set-up.... I haven't installed my DBW yet.
I've been somewhat lazy... not looking forward to pulling the engine harness to repin some of the wiring.
Its such a huge PITA with the ABS unit right in the way.

Lastest datalog.. running 16-17psi CL boost control.
3rd gear pull, starting at 2600rpms and hitting 16psi by 3800rpms. AFR's are around 10.7 during the pull.
Its plenty fun.... She rips pretty strong.👍

Definitely liking the stock look for a change... so classic!
There's a great thread just started of back to the OEM look here.. definitely some clean OEM FDs

It is going to be close. The interior is in pieces as I try to work out the kinks of the ac system. I have the ac hot wired from the compressor to the evaporator and then a switch but I dont like it. Trying to figure out how to work it through my microtech so it can also raise the rpms with the compressor turns on. Once I get that figured out then it will be a race to put my new plastics in and give it a detail. I hope to make it and hang out with the rest of the rotards. Brap on
