Man she was hauling the mail on the top end of the track. If you had some grip you would have had a better time for sure.
Yeah bro, I agree... 3rd gear feels strong

With those wheels and tires currently installed I thing a 1.8-2.0 60ft is realistic. Anything lower you need a better tire.

I launch @ 4.5K rpm, really tried slippin the clutch, wasn't on boost.
Its all driver error, this is the first time at the track with this car. I agree a 2.0 60ft is doable

Does your Haltech have launch/traction control available? That would probably help too if you can get it to accept the ABS sensors for driven & non-driven wheel speed sources.
Yes, my Haltech 2500 is launch/traction control capable, just haven't even looked into setting it up.
Thanks for the kind words guys!
I'll be going back for sure.
Yes Sir! 5 spokes look great on FDs! Sold the RPF1s and got these👍👍
Couple more pics 😊
Those wheels do look great for sure. I sometimes contemplate changing my rpf1. The rpf1 are so durable and light. With that said I would love to find a five spoke in either light wieght carbon fiber or magnesium. I have yet to find a set so far. Your car looks great. Brap on brother

I liked my RPF1s for what they were, light and inexpensive with great fitment but always thought about getting a nice set of 5 spokes.
The TC4s are only .5lbs heavier than the RPF1s iirc and pretty much the same fitment…. also I think the gunmetal finish fits the silver too.
Thats the great thing about wheels you can change them out and gain a whole new look 👍👍
I think the TC4s look better than the Advan GT Beyond equivalents as well.
There’s something so right about the TC4 spoke proportions and faces, while the new Beyonds almost look like a rep wheel with how the spike meets the barrel.
$4 per gallon is cheap for 93, we are currently at $4.50 for 87. I didn't put many mile on the FD the past 2 years, looks like that is not going to change unless gas price change direction

Oh man that's high! I'm hoping prices turn around but I'm not too optimistic.
I'm always looking for a reason to drive mine.
Usually take it to work 2-3 times a week (80miles round trip) but yeah that'll be changing now with gas prices.
Love the thread, and great looking car on some great wheels!
We live in the heart of SF, before the current world situation most stations were in the low-to-mid $5s per gal for 91 octane (There is no 93 around where I live, or I haven't found it). There is a place local to me that dared to sell 91 for $4.90/gal.
Yesterday we saw 91 go up to mid-$5's, today on my way to work I saw a horrifying sign asking $6.50 for 91.
Weeping clutch hydraulics are keeping my car in the garage. They chose a good time to go bad.
Gas is crazy. I paid $4.39 for the regular stuff. Filed my ram hemi with $100.00 bucks. I filled up the Fd last week with 93 octane. I keep a close look fuel cost is on all my cars except the Fd. I dont ever bother to look because it is so enjoyable to drive that I just dont care how much fuel cost for it. I really dont even understand how I dont pay attention. I am with you Estevan smiles per gallon. I am thinking of waving a sign at my nearest intersection, stating will work for fuel. Lol
Yup, $4.00/gallon for 93 premium is relatively cheap, we're closing fast on $4.50/gallon 93 here in MD, and I'm betting it will be over $5/gallon at the rate it's going up.

Dang! Florida prices aren't so bad compared to SF

Still our roads are jammed at 75% SUV and pick-ups.
You will get used to it.
