Man DGRR looks like so much fun! One of these years ill make it up there, I don't trust my car with that long of a trip yet
It's been 5 months since someone bought your RPF1s off you lol when do we get to see the new wheel setup!?
If youre able to make it just go... its great time.
Still havent decided what to get yet... im really enjoying the classic stock look for now.

You really need to come to DGRR! I didn't go for a number of years and kicked myself when I finally went and realized all the fun I had been missing out on! Also no one cars if your car isn't "done", paint isn't perfect, etc. - just GO!

Yep, I agree 100% !!

The black RX-8 in the lead is my $800 daily driver . Stephen is the silver FD in the middle of the pack.

Yup, and I think that's my black FC sandwiched between the white FC and red FC vert at the end. If it wasn't for that slow jeep ahead of us, Killboy wouldn't be able to get a group shot like that.
Fun times out cruisin with SpiritRgarage aka Tito
Quick pull through 1st, 2nd 3rd. Same boost level around 16psi.
Ready to throw some Ethanol in and up the boost 👍
New shoes for the silver girl!
TC4’s Metallic gun metal..
18x9.5 et45 on 255/35 front
18x10 et35 on 265/35 rear…. Very similar to the RPF1 specs I had before.
Ride height is a just under 26” so I could go alittle lower.
Pretty happy, I like the contrast between the silver and gunmetal.
Also glad to regain some better grip vs the stock 16” definitely feels more planted.
Driving home from West Palm Beach the other day.
Round trip was about 320 miles.
Still had just under a quarter tank left when I got home.
I was at 75-80mph, afr’s are 14.3 to 14.7 while steady state cruisin… happy with the mileage 👍
Getting in the car this morning and seeing these pieces on the floor mat and the battery was dead!
Well the brake pedal switch stopper(or whatever it’s called) final gave up causing the brake lights to stay on all night in the parking lot. 🥺
Got a jump from a coworker and taped a penny where the stopper goes(temporarily fix) to drive home with working tail lights.
You can do a stick-on rubber pad from the hardware store, for the brake light switch I do like to have a proper OEM part. Someone found that Nissan has a rubber stopper that works perfectly.
For the clutch switch a stick-on pad does great, been running one with zero problems for 15 years
So I’ve been noticing a vibration coming from the car and thought it was the exhaust touching a cross brace or something.
It was the motor mounts. Completely disintegrated!
Ima send IRP a email and find out if these are defective or what.
This Is unacceptable for mounts that are only 3years old.
That's weird how they broke apart like that - looks almost like they somehow got too brittle and shattered. Never seen an polyurethane mount fail like that.
