Can you talk a little bit more about the self tuning? Do you just plug in target AFRs and the computer tunes it for you?

You plan on getting it professional tuned?

My bad... meaning... I started with the Haltech 1500 single turbo base map and I've been street tuning it from there.
There is learning functions but it will not tune its self.

Yes, eventually I will get it to a rotary tuner down here.

[QUOTE=estevan62274;12286895]Thanks for the kind words, I pretty much do everything on my own but i do text Dale with questions and get info from him before i blow some **** up.
Im not really chasing power numbers just want a nice driver @15 psi on pump.

Build looks awesome man, simple and clean. Curious what your turbo set up is; ,hard to tell from the original photos and curious if you have altered it or not. Looking to pursue similar power numbers for the project. I usually take what already works and just copy it, no need to re-invent the wheel.

Good luck with the progress!

Thanks man!

I pieced the turbo set-up together, its nothing special just a EFR 8374iwg w/turbosource shorty manifold and 3" downpipe.
Also made the oil and coolant lines myself.
I'm very happy with it.... these EFRs are a game changer for rotaries.

I'll post some pics of it later.

Great project so far, I love the re-use of the factory computer shell.

Also curious with your setup and Haltech if you were able to pass smog/emissions that way in CA or have to go back to the stock ECU? Still have the air pump and ACV or are they gone with the single turbo setup? Assuming the EGR is gone as well?

Thanks,

-milly

I'm sure it wouldn't pass smog, I have all the emissions components removed.
Here in Florida we don't have emissions testing.... thank goodness!!
